First Hurricane in an Unusual Spot
With a total of 19 named storms, the 2012 Atlantic hurricane season was very active. This is only the seventh hurricane season in the last 162 years that we've had 19 or more named storms.
In addition to being active, we've seen many oddities along the way. Let's step through these oddities beginning with the 2012 "preseason" storms.
