SAN FRANCISCO (AP) -- The latest in a series of storms dumped more rain across Northern California and closed a major highway Wednesday, but the region is expected to dry out over the next week.
The most recent storm brought up to four inches of rain on the state's far northern coast on Tuesday and Wednesday, according to the National Weather Service. Most of the San Francisco Bay Area got less than an inch of rainfall.
