Big Story Weather from April 19-21: Major flooding continues to impact cities in the north as the snow melt and past heavy rain enters the river basins. Another storm system developed over the Southwest and is now moving out to the Rockies and towards the Plains.
Big Story Weather Discussion for April 22: High pressure along the East Coast will bring a nice day to the region with mild temps and plenty of sunshine. An area of low pressure over Florida will bring showers and thunderstorms to the state today. The new storm system moving out of the Southwest will bring showers to Kansas and parts of Oklahoma. A heavy band of snow will move through the Central Plains. Some places could get up to five inches of snowfall today. A nice day is in store for the West Coast.
