Big Story Weather from April 24: Another day of light snow across the Northern Plains. Severe weather was seen in Louisiana and Mississippi. Another area of cold air moved over the Southern Plains with more frost and freeze warnings issued.

 

Big Story Weather Discussion for April 25: An area of low pressure will move across the Great Lakes today bringing a few snow showers to the area. A weak upper level feature is moving over the Carolinas today and will bring a few showers with it. High pressure sliding into Mississippi will bring partly cloudy skies to the Gulf Coast and back towards the Southern Plains. Onshore flow near Houston will bring a few showers to the area. The West will remain dry and mild again today especially in the Pacific Northwest where temps will be above normal.
