Resting against a tree by the banks of the river I started talking to the tree, and then all the pent up sadness flowed out of me in verse.
Spirit, dear spirit of the tree, please can I rest awhile with thee. My back fits snugly against your bark; do you hear, me can you hark to the spirit residing in my breast that yearns for peace and tranquil rest? I gaze upon the river stream running along yours banks of green; I see the water shining bright caught in a myriad dancing lights. It catches at my inner eye, releasing my spirit to leap and fly above the worries of the land to higher realms that understand; our life should have much more to offer and so accept the tears I proffer. And they must flow out to the sea becoming one in harmony, sheltered from the coming storm and borne as one who is forlorn, upon the crest of crashing waves, washed into dark and silent caves. My spirit rose and then was dashed, a thousand leagues it plunged and crashed; at last it rose unto the surface, full of love and of great purpose, being part of the great expression - the wholeness and oneness of God’s creation.
A few days later I sat in the garden to clear my head from the paperwork left by my mother who died recently.
I closed my eyes and seemed to rise up into the sky, looking down on the tree tops and hillsides. Gently I started to descend and was able to look more closely at the trees, which were vibrantly green and majestic. Every leaf of every tree shimmered like fine cut jewels . . . it was absolutely amazing. And as I gasped at their beauty I was drawn back up into the heavens, roaming across the country side from an incredible height. I could feel the wind battering my face as I looked through closed eyelids at the scene beneath me, and all the while I could feel my hands resting on my solar plexus. This is a most incredible experience and one I’m hoping to learn more about. Perhaps this is possible because our frequencies are changing and we are gradually developing new skills of accessing different dimensions simultaneously.
