I did not come equipped with a scientific background or knowledge base. In fact, I am convinced that I may have been a good subject for “contact” because I am an artist, and despite the world’s attempt to condition me to think my way through life, I have landed back into my natural, feeling heart as the guiding light to living my life on Earth… My motivation to tell the story is quite simple. I am you. You are me. What happens to one of us, happens to all. And IT wants to commune with YOU too.

I had a total epiphany this morning when I asked what was important for me to know before I begin writing and assembling the meat of this book. I realized as I gazed out the window into the lovely Sangre de Cristo woods, that something felt very different, and it didn’t take long for me to fully grok it… I feel no more incongruity in my life… no more WTF was that? No more, why me? No more need to agonize over all the “pieces of me” and how the largesse of what I’ve witnessed doesn’t seem to fit here. It’s all gone. Every shred of it. Not only is this completely freeing, but I realize that I had to get to this place, this integrated, centered foundation of Self-acceptance and Self-assuredness before I facilitate the birthing of this book. And I just realized, in this moment, that I have truly grown into the closing lyric of my own song, “Pieces of Me” – “I will see all the pieces of me, and I will free all the pieces of me”. No one else can do this for us, and when we accomplish this within ourselves, we bring our collective consciousness one giant step closer to freeing “All the Pieces of Me” around the globe… and those pieces in the cosmos too…
