As these forums haven't taken off yet, I'd like to let everyone know that we're active on Facebook. I know not everyone likes Facebook and many refuse to join it, but it's one of the most powerful websites for social interaction and features way more than what we're able to offer people here. This forum will remain open, though we offer a much more active (and often dramatic) group on Facebook here: http://www.facebook.com/home.php?sk=group_166301153399429&ap=1

The Facebook Group
I link into the main article, the channeled messages, a lot do that are on Facebook and other networks.i dont care for myspace, its full of virii as of late..flash bugs and whatnot.
Linked in is a good resource, bt its like sharing group business cards back and forth.WHo do you know is the game there. And thats it.
Yes, i think this is a good resource in and of itself. A means to sticky(I love post-it notes, digital or otherwise) some things, have a discussion on channelled messages, talk to the channellers...yes..very good.
i am working on personally listing out in order(call it lessons, whatever) some of what we have here on my site, Im having link issues and trouble with Content Management, so the site is broken at the moment. The domain is rjasmin.net. I have unlimited access and can do whatever I need with the site, so for those limited by facebook(or Drupal), what have ye....this access is very nice of DreamHost to offer at such a low low rate. But as you know, this sort of setup of any sort is not easy to maintain and still takes time. Forgive me if i go knee deep in code for a day or two, it is to better things for us all.Ive tried to stay away from the low level code, but Ive been tasked with building a common ground to solve a lot of these issues we have with computers and they are very complex bit flipping machines.
i want you to know this. You are always flipping bits or switches...it never ends.No matter what. The question becomes what happens whese these or those bits gets flipped, and its very detailed you know, somewhat documented. Very very boring stuff but a solution needs to come in some way, even if it is just changing configuration of something already in existance.
We need a better solution to this bad code dilemma and BROKEN(Windows is very broken...it takes after Linux now) WINDOWS. Applications are another matter, and internet intertfaces and website code a layer on top of that. Its not the best implementation, but it works for now.
So this can get complex quickly, but as I said, I will try and work on the content level for the internet and ignore some of the lower level stuff I was looking at for now.
My understanding is that at our level we use a lower level interface and the messages are more direct, data storage and what not are easier, as we work with mostly plain text and are not worried so much about formatting and styles and whatnot, at least on the ships, ya know like STAR TREK...very plain and understood. And we radio relay(I forget how) the same way, so
for those of us from out there its a bit tricky to interact with all of this style stuff and document formats because they dont really exist, all of them, you see.
This makes my job and linking the systems and people a bit tricky too.
But in sprit, I guess we are all on the same Fidonet channel here, the #spritNet as it were.
Well thats how telepathy works anyways, in a nutshell.
