Sarah, what is self-worth?
Self-worth is a feeling of goodness inside/ even of knowing that you are a child of the Divine. To know the Divine is one thing. To know you are a child of the Divine is true self-worth. This is not a knowing of the head, but of the heart. But with self-worth, you can accept all things about your being (& so be with all that you are, ‘good’ or ‘bad’, this in itself creates healing within)
How can one achieve self-worth?
Just focusing on a thing starts to bring it into your conscious awareness. Making a clear intent each day that you wish to obtain self-worth will start to create that self-worth by attracting to you the ideas & insights that you need to have to understand exactly what self-worth is & how you can achieve it.
Why is it that self-worth seems to be something you can ‘have’ (almost as if it’s a physical, tanglible thing) rather than ‘feel’
Self-worth is a quality that exists inside you that you can nurture & cultivate. Much as you can nurture & cultivate strength or patience. You can feel strong but you can also have strength. It can be something that you possess inside. Often because you have decided to have it! It is the same with happiness. Happiness is a quality that you can cultivate & happens not because something outside of yourself has caused it, but because you have in some way made a clear decision to cultivate & nurture the quality of happiness inside yourself.
If I cultivate the quality of self-worth inside myself, how will this make a difference to my daily life?
If you cultivate the quality of self-worth inside yourself, the decisions you make from moment to moment each day, will be influenced by the golden light of self-worth which emanates from the heart of your Divine self. You will be more likely to taken actions which are of benefit to you, because those with a sense of self-worth truly wish to have a good outcome for themselves and all beings. You will want to act for your highest good in all things; not from a conscious deliberate effort on your part, but as a natural part of your behaviour. Thus it is worth cultivating an attitude of self-worth in your life, and you will also find that how you treat others also becomes naturally improved as well. We treat others as we treat ourselves. So far from being a selfish thing, having a sense of our own worth causes us to treat others as the precious objects they are too, as we are ourselves.
Self-worth is a quality you naturally possess inside. Possession of self-worth is lost when action is taken against having it. It is true to say that it is removed from you. I can help you take possession again of your self-worth by cutting away all that which has separated you from your Divine birth right. Self-worth is something the Divine intends for you to have, & it is the Divine’s intention which will always power you on towards greater & greater healing. It is absolute.
