Asher Quinn (Asha) sings 'Love will always heal your heart' from his album "State of Grace". Buy CD/download here ~ http://www.asherquinn.co.uk/samples19... . This song started life just before a concert of mine in Denmark, when I was rehearsing with a friend. My beloved little cat, Chipi, had just died unexpectedly, and my friend Lawrence's beloved wife of 25 years had also, tragically, recently died. I practiced on his keyboard, and this mantra and melody came into my consciousness. I began to cry, but the tears were cathartic. Lawrence joined me on guitar, and we played and wept for half an hour. Suddenly, I had a song, and we played it at the concert. Within a few weeks I had recorded it with Arno op Den Camp at Kerani Music in the Netherlands, and it went onto my album "State of Grace". I then hit upon the notion of making a video to it, and inviting people from all over the world to be filmed dancing, drumming, kissing, hugging and playing... to express the natural child in themselves. I had many generous responses, and eventually filmed groups and individuals in Holland, Denmark, Germany, Finland and Hungary, whilst footages were sent in from the UK and Spain. At concerts, I invited the audience to get up and free dance to the song, which they all did, joyously! 'Love will always heal your heart' is a kind of One World Anthem... a very happy, innocent, unifying mantra. I collected scenes over 6 months, and eventually we amassed over 1200 footages. 120 were used in the final cut. I am a professional musician, but my art director, Emoke, and I are enthusiastic amateurs in the business of making films! Nevertheless, we managed to make a joyous mini epic, which took months to film and days to edit. Everywhere I was invited I was offered free accommodation, so it cost virtually nothing to make... just the petrol money, and the fee I paid Emoke for the edit. The whole thing was a joy and a great adventure... a summer of love!! We just have a little camcorder and a tripod. Everyone has been so kind and enthusiastic, and I love you all! Each group and individual is credited at the end of the film, in case any of the activities filmed inspire you. The unifying principle behind one world love is a living connection to our higher self... true love is not possible without it, because from that place proceeds understanding, compassion, and... well... big lurve!
