~ LOVING YOU THROUGH CHALLENGES ~
~Galactic Love Reporter Janet StraightArrow~
In my many years helping people heal I found that there is one major place important to address. To release deep wounds and pain, we have to do our part and let go. Healing is elusive unless we are ready to accept a new life. The major blocks to healing are self-judgment, blame and attachment to the problems and pain. Unless we let go of what was and let love in to heal us we can stay stuck for a lifetime or more.
Each person is an amazing creation and expression of the divine. We are told this, but until we feel this for our selves it is not real.
Religions, families and cultures may focus on right and wrong, fitting in, living up to an ideal and sin instead of treating each person as precious and worthy and nurturing them to be their best. Parents cannot give something they do not have and unless they heal their inner wounds and childhood traumas they pass on a lineage of problems and pain. There can be a deep belief, reinforced with behaviors, poor treatment and not having our needs met, that we are not worthy.
Breaking free of the negative beliefs and patterns of our life is worth pursuing. Holding onto the pain only ruins your life. Forgiving others and self for perceived sins requires grieving the loss of innocence.
Grieving honors the passing of what was, so that you can accept healing. To forgive is not to make it okay that something occurred, but that it is okay to let it go and not allow it to continue to hurt you.
The longer we hold onto hurt, the deeper it wounds us and stays real in our mind and body. Letting go of the victim is an important rite of passage allowing you to be free. We may not realize how invested and trained we are to accept and believe in our wounds to keep them alive. To even imagine we are worthy, loved and loving, takes courage to break out of the patterns of belief of the opposite from our past.
Change the channel when you are in the midst of inner turmoil and allow love in to your mind and heart. We must open a pathway to allow the focus to shift and the healing to occur.
We are all human having an experience of many things in this life. In each moment there are many thoughts, beliefs, attitudes, fears and possibilities pulling on our attention. Each one of us has been challenged and felt negative thoughts and possibilities. Many of us were raised to give more focus on what is wrong in our lives and less attention on the positive. Many bad things have happened that we wish did not.
Wherever we focus we create. Love yourself and all through this journey called life. Each person has challenges. We are all in this together.
We could have done some things better and did not. Now we can choose again. We can experience life anew and recreate a better now. No blame, judgment or punishment, just love. This is compassion, first we face our humanity and then we can see it and appreciate it in others.
Whatever your challenges and pains, bring love in, and watch them begin to melt away. Love is like the sun, it lightens up the gloomiest days and warms you up and chases the clouds away. Enlighten your life. Be Love.
Enjoy the Journey,
