“In every aspect of our lives, we are always asking ourselves, How am I of value? What is my worth? Yet I believe that worthiness is our birthright.” -Oprah Winfrey
How much are you worth? If you could put a value on yourself, what would that value be?
I am guilty of selling myself short, of looking at others and seeing their strengths and accomplishments yet seeing my own as less than.
Take this last year for instance. I have accomplished a lot on a personal level yet I could not acknowledge this “lot” until I pretty much forced myself to.
I am a writer.
A year ago I would never have claimed such a claim even though I have been writing since a very young age.
I would never have considered myself a writer because no one else considered me one.
The question is why didn’t anyone consider me one?
The answer is simple. I didn’t stake my claim. I can only be what I myself acknowledge...
