Forming Sacred Relationships with the Four Elements: Part 1 Earth

Many of us have heard about grounding, and the health benefits of walking around barefooted, but could it be that walking on the soil is only the first step in creating a deep and powerful bond with the earth?  Have you ever wondered if, in order to aid in our natural balance of emotional, mental and physical health, we need to connect more deeply with the four elements of nature?

We are unique expressions of source and because of that uniqueness we have a unique relationships with the world around us.  Currently, in modern society, we have filled our world with synthetic materials.  Plastics, artificial light, artificial heat, processed food, and sidewalks perpetuate the disconnect between nature and ourselves.  We are getting to the point where it is easier to be disconnected then it is to take the time and energy to reconnect with nature.
