Aug. 1 (Bloomberg Law) -- The world's biggest banks are likely to defend lawsuits alleging they manipulated the Libor interest rate by saying the federal government knew it and did nothing, according to Neil Barofsky, former Inspector General for TARP. Rather than put maximum pressure on the banks by suing them individually, the government is likely to try to sidestep arguments it was complicit in the Libor mess by seeking a global settlement, he tells Bloomberg Law's Lee Pacchia. Barofsky is the author of the new book "Bailout: An Inside Account of How Washington Abandoned Main Street While Rescuing Wall Street."

As revolutions have taken place in the region, the rumblings have been felt in many places and it appears that the next epicenter could be Saudi Arabia. As more demonstrations have taken place in the kingdom, another protester has been killed in the Eastern Province. Also reports say that a Saudi policeman has also been killed. As the violence continues and claims of abuse and illegal incarceration rise, many question what lies ahead in this repressive kingdom as its people continue to seek equality. Are we on the edge of a revolution in Saudi Arabia?

This is not a joke! My wife and I were watching the fireworks on the Swiss National Day in our garden when we saw an UFO. I filmed with a CANON EOS 600D. The craft was approached by a plane and moved away. You can see that in the movie. Also the way it moved can be seen. I put the sequences with the UFO together: Between the cut there were about 3 minutes where the UFO was not seen. It is probably disc or triangular shaped. So my wife told: "When we have the fireworks, they (theUFO people) think they can make a little trip without beeing seen." So this is no fake. I just upload it to be shared. It was filmed between 11pm and 12pm August first, the day where we Swiss celebrate the birth of Switzerland with fireworks. I compleatly forgot to watch the exact time when I filmed it.
