Associated Press caught 'restructuring' old EPA news to mislead readers; mainstream media blindly plays along

Silver's picture

(NaturalNews) Four days ago, the Associated Press reported that coal-fired power plants are dumping enormous quantities of pollutants into U.S. waterways. According to the Associated Press, the EPA says that coal-fired power plants are dumping nearly 2 million pounds of aluminum, 79,000 pounds of arsenic, 64,000 pounds of lead and even 2,820 pound of mercury each year into U.S. waterways. This original story by the AP (dated January 18, 2014) was published, word-for-word, across the Denver Post, ABC News, the Washington Post, the San Jose Mercury News and even Salon.com. There's only one problem with all this reporting: nobody bothered to check their sources.

Natural News, By: J.D. Heyes, 01/22/2014

The percentage of veterans of that conflict who ultimately suffered from GWS was astounding: More than one-third, or approximately 250,000 of the 697,000 vets who served in the first Gulf War campaign, are afflicted, according to the National Academy of Sciences. In 2009, a study published in the Journal of Inorganic Biochemistry posited that that the substance aluminum hydroxide could be the primary GWS culprit, as documented at Science.NaturalNews.com:

Gulf War Syndrome is a multi-system disorder afflicting many veterans of Western armies in the 1990-1991 Gulf War. A number of those afflicted may show neurological deficits including various cognitive dysfunctions and motor neuron disease, the latter expression virtually indistinguishable from classical Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) except for the age of onset. This ALS "cluster" represents the second such ALS cluster described in the literature to date. Possible causes of GWS include several of the Adjuvants in the Anthrax vaccine and others. The most likely culprit appears to be Aluminum hydroxide.

Standing some 2,000 miles west of Chile, on the Easter Island, 887 mysterious giant statues have intrigued scientists and the public for years. For a long time it was believed that the massive statutes consisted of just the heads. However, in October 2011, when the Easter Island Statue Project began its Season V expedition, scientists could reveal remarkable photos showing that the bodies of the statues go far deeper underground than just about anyone had imagined.

In a special climate statement, the bureau says a dome of very hot air developed over Western Australia, setting a number of records in that state, including the hottest January day at Emu Creek where it reached 49.2 degrees, before moving eastwards. Victoria recorded its hottest four-day period on record and records were also broken in South Australia, with Keith in the state's south-east recording its hottest day of 46 degrees.

We understand that a great deal of you are continuing to struggle with your monetary abundance. There are a few key points we would like to address on that topic today.

Do not expect that money can only come from certain sources. For example, if you only make so much a week at your job, do not presume that is your only source of money. Money can come to you in a myriad of ways. If you expect money is limited to a certain amount from a specific stream, you completely restrict how the universe can deliver to you. Be open to money finding its way to you in many different ways and you will greatly assist the universe in it’s desire to assist you. Make it a fun game of expectation and discovery!

Do not think money is the only answer. Money is a fantastic tool that you can turn into many things. The universe also enjoys giving to you exactly what you seek without the “middleman” of money. Be open to the many ways the universe can deliver to you, and don’t be surprised if the exact items you desire start to appear without the use of money at all!

On Friday, Chinese state media reported that China Credit Trust Co. warned investors that they may not be repaid when one of its wealth management products matures on January 31, the first day of the Year of the Horse.

The Industrial and Commercial Bank of China sold the China Credit Trust product to its customers in inland Shanxi province.  This bank, the world’s largest by assets, on Thursday suggested it will not compensate investors, stating in a phone interview with Reuters that “a situation completely does not exist in which ICBC will assume the main responsibility.”
