We are not born with ego at all. Ego is taught and
learned through experiences. An infant is not aware
of self until it sees its reflection in the mirror and then
has to be told what the reflection is. To be without ego
is to be unaware of self and just being in the moment
of here and now. No judgement no labels. Without ego
nothing can affect us. Ego only looks for attention and
needs to be noticed as well as looks for a reaction.
Without ego there is freedom. Everyone has their own
perception, making everyone's reality different in the
way they perceive it. No one can tell someone they are
wrong, but they can remain open to others viewpoints
and then if it resonates that would become their truth
as well. If you take a little bit of what everyone says
or teaches, you will find some truth in it all.
Acceptance is the answer. In the end everyone has to
come to their own realization.

Eckhart Tolle has written extensively about it.
His book "A New Earth. Awakening to your Life Purpose".
In his book, he said that the Ego is a separate , sentient entity
whose motive is to survive, at your expense.
.....................Not very romantic.
The modus operandi of Ego is to create as many unhappy situations
so that the negative emotional response of the human personality can be harvested.
In 2008, I asked Spirit what else do I have to do to ascend. I was told I have to surrender. I did not know what that was. When I got to Niagara Falls, a bookstore manager gave me Eckhart's book free. I refused it three times. She said that I was supposed to read it. So, I took it . the rest is.....I say......history.
The Ego is created by Soul, as a possessing entity to the human.
You cannot completely purge the Ego from you . You have to
surrender this to Spirit. I surrender this Ego everyday .
When the human dies, the large fragments of Ego becomes self-aware
and sentient; I believe this is called the Samskara. This happens when the human heavily involved in negative thoughts and emotions related to sex,
greed, addictions etc.,,,
The microscopic fragments become dormant in the lightbody, and awaken in the next incarnation.
When several Samskaras combine thru resonance, they manifest as say, serial killers or rapists..the devil himself.
The Ego is not you, so please refrain from calling it "my Ego"
And.........by the way,.......those negative and harmful thoughts and feelings generated by Ego, are NOT yours. Your "sin" is that you unknowingly participated in these Egoic games. NOT sin at all.
The Ego, in your state of Amnesia, trained the left brain to react negatively
to situations. When you are more informed about its machinations and you have successfully evicted this Ego out of your energy field, you may want to embark into
retraining your left brain and then....unifying it with your right brain.
There are racial Egoes and national egoes,
And lastly, the Ego, is always around, waiting for a chance to jump you, or to
influence the person next to you to give you problem.
So be very vigilant.
