Minerals are always so fascinating. Containing complex compositions that create stunning gemstones. A mineral is a “naturally occurring substance that is solid and inorganic representable by a chemical formula, and has an ordered atomic structure.” Luckily for us, there are already 4,900 known minerals. This means there are an outstanding amount of natural pieces of work made entirely by the earth.
My favorite thing about minerals is hunting them in local areas. There are an endless amount of geode combinations that have different designs and patterns that don’t seem all too “natural” to begin with.
