Arrow nock attaches to bowstring.
Dominant eye takes aim.
Grounded stance aligns with positive affirmations.
Life on earth gives us opportunities to both give and receive.
What surprises are out there?
I slowly lean into having fun, mixing it up and expansive
relationships.
Distractions drag the bow downward.
A quiver full of heaviness makes my original intent
crowded with empty words. Stop.
No more ifs, ands or buts, doubts slow momentum.
Stand upright. Ground. I’ve practiced this so much.
Begin again. Breathe. Be consistent.
Fluid movement reaches anchor point.
Relax. Concentrate. Aim.
Arms shake, alignment is not right, release position.
Begin again. No big deal, this takes practice.
Grateful for this shot at life, I release an inner arrow
by relaxing fingers and drawing my hand back.
Finishing the rotation of the shoulder,
I keep my bow hand steady and watch.
The arrow travels beyond farther than ever before
and finds compassion at the target center point.
Bulls-eye!
