Today our Belove Earth=Heart is in a high volcano activity... All over the Planet steam, ashes and lava are being released.

Yesterday we reached almost an 800km/s Wind Speed wich is very High and today we’re still at more than 600.

EQs are extremely calm in activity, we olny had 17 in the last 24h which is indeed quite unusual these times.

Eyes are on the Popo  volcano in Mexico and in the Santorini volcano which are not stopping their tremors.

Keep being centered in your Heart. No one is meant to go through anything they did not choose to in advance for the best good of all.

Love you so

Alberta Aurora

The Geomagnetic Storming over the past several days produced some brilliant Aurora over many parts of North America. Here is yet another great movie submitted by Zoltan Kenwell showing us what it looked like over the skies of Alberta, Canada. Click the nice image below to access the movie.

Solar Update / Aurora Watch

Solar activity is currently at very low levels. Sunspot 1460 just rotated onto the western limb and out of direct Earth view. Sunspot 1459 which continues to decay, will also join 1460 on the limb by the weekend. Elsewhere, Sunspot 1465 did have a Beta-Gamma-Delta magnetic configuration, but has itself decayed and is no longer a threat for strong solar flares. There will continue to be a chance for C-Class flares.

Aurora Watch: A coronal mass ejection from a C-Flare earlier in the week is expected to sweep past Earth within the next several hours. Minor geomagnetic storming will again be possible. The solar wind remains fairly high at 600+ km/s.

Wildlife investigators look for clues in mystery of Ohio fish kill

Posted on April 26, 2012 by The Extinction Protocol

April 26, 2012 – OHIO – The Ohio Division of Wildlife got a call on Sunday from a fisherman who told the agency they should probably come see the flood of fish carcasses in the Rocky River. When they arrived, they discovered a waterway filled with dead aqua life. The fish kill is still under investigation. Today, the ODW announced the final death toll: 28,613 fish, along with other species. But the process of counting the dead was merely the first step. The interesting part, in terms of going after whoever was responsible for whatever caused the mass deaths (that’s about as specific as we can get right now), comes next. –Clevescene

Lava from Puu Oo spreads over coastal plain

Posted on April 26, 2012 by The Extinction Protocol

April 26, 2012 – HAWAII - Lava flows from Puu Oo vent are spreading over the coastal plain in Kalapana and over the weekend entered the Hawaii Volcanoes National Park. But the flows are still about a half-mile from the ocean. The Hawaiian Volcano Observatory released new lava photos taken Monday that show slow-moving breakouts of pahoehoe lava, with the characteristic look of bunched up rope as it cools. Other photos released in the last month show how the lava has been spreading on the plain, rather than moving directly to the south, toward the ocean. The plain is below the Pulama Pali and the Royal Gardens subdivision. The observatory also released video and thermal images showing the summit lava lake rising at Halemaumau Crater. A glow from the lava lake illuminates the gas plume coming from the vent at night. The lava level rises and falls as the volcano goes through inflation and deflation cycles. The lake level is about 230 feet below the floor of Halemaumau Crater. –Star Advertiser

New eruption of North Sulawesi’s Mt. Lokon

BY CHILLYMANJARO – APRIL 26, 2012

POSTED IN: EDITORS' PICKS, VOLCANOES

After several days of increased activity, North Sulawesi’s Mount Lokon erupted at 10:20 a.m. Tuesday, the National Disaster Mitigation Agency (BNPB) has announced. The height at which lava shot out of the volcano was unknown because clouds were blocking the full view. The agency declared areas within a 2.5 kilometers radius from the mountain’s peak dangerous and urged nearby residents to stay alert. Local residents around Mount Lokon in Tomohon, North Sulawesi, have been asked to evacuate the area, following the mountain’s steady increase of activity since 4 p.m. Monday. Center of Volcanology and Geological Hazard Mitigation (CVGHM)  advised community to remain calm and do not trust the local government issues, which is unreliable source.

CVGHM reported that during the morning on 24 April diffuse white plumes rose 25-50 m above Tompaluan crater, in the saddle between the Lokon-Empung peaks. Later that day an eruption was accompanied by loud “thumping” noises heard at local observation posts, though fog prevented views of the crater. The next day diffuse white plumes rose 50-100 m above the crater. The Alert Level remained at 3 (on a scale of 1-4). Mt Lokon is located on the outskirts of Tomohon. It is 1,580 meters high and is located 20 kilometers west from Manado, North Sulawesi.

The threat of danger to the current eruption is accompanied by a burst of magmatic material sized incandescent lapilli and ash with or without thick pyroclastic flow followed by a sudden eruption. When the last of hot cloud around G. Lokon, then the community to be aware of the occurrence of pyroclastic flow on S. Pasahapen. The potential for eruption is still possible, but the incidence of these eruptions is not known when and how much intensity.

“There might be other eruptions. We call on the residents to stay calm,” agency spokesman Sutopo Purwo Nugroho said in a statement sent to The Jakarta Post.

According to the Volcanic and Geological Disaster Mitigation Center (PVMBG), Mt Lokon last erupted on June 14, 2011, sending ash and debris 1,500 meters into the sky. The following day, another eruption threw volcanic material 600 meters into the air. Two residents died as a result of the eruptions.

Other eruptions occurred in 1991 and 2001, with the earlier one causing Rp 1 billion (US$108,000) in damage, as well as the death of Swiss tourist Vivian Clavel. The 2001 eruption covered Manado in ash and debris. The dust coming from the mountain formed a 400 meter plume.

The twin volcanoes Lokon and Empung, rising about 800 m above the plain of Tondano, are among the most active volcanoes of Sulawesi. Lokon, the higher of the two peaks (whose summits are only 2.2 km apart) has a flat, craterless top. The morphologically younger Empung volcano has a 400-m-wide, 150-m-deep crater that erupted last in the 18th century, but all subsequent eruptions have originated from Tompaluan, a 150 x 250 m wide double crater situated in the saddle between the two peaks. Historical eruptions have primarily produced small-to-moderate ash plumes that have occasionally damaged croplands and houses, but lava-dome growth and pyroclastic flows have also occurred.(Global Volcanism Program)

Long Valley caldera rattled by small series of tremors

Posted on April 26, 2012

April 26, 2012 – Long Valley, CA – A series of 6 tremors have erupted at the Long Valley super-volcano caldera over the last 24 hours- two yesterday, and four tremors today. The tremors today were a 1.1 mag (3.2 km), a 2.5 mag (4.5 km), a 1.6 mag (4.5 km) and a 1.2 mag (2.8 km). This could be the beginning of a swarm so we’ll keep monitoring events and look for updates. –The Extinction Protocol

Russia’s Shiveluch volcano ejects a 11 km ash cloud

Posted on April 26, 2012

April 26, 2012 – RUSSIA -The Shiveluch volcano on Russia’s Far Eastern Kamchatka Peninsula on Thursday ejected an ash cloud to as high as nearly 11km above the sea level, the Itar-Tass news agency reported. An ash column from the volcano rose to a height of 10.7km above the sea level. There was no immediate threat for the population, and no emissions of volcanic dust were monitored in neighboring villages. Two earthquakes were registered at the volcano over the past 24 hours, which was given the highest Red Aviation Code. This was the most powerful eruption of ash registered at Shiveluch this year. Shiveluch has been active for more than four weeks. Shiveluch, standing 3,283 meters above the sea level, is Kamchatka’s northernmost active volcano. -DNA

New study suggests Greece still vulnerable to tsunami threat

Posted on April 25, 2012 by The Extinction Protocol

April 25, 2012 – GREECE – In the winter of 479 B.C., a tsunami was the savior of Potidaea, drowning hundreds of Persian invaders as they lay siege to the ancient Greek village. New geological evidence suggests that the region may still be vulnerable to tsunami events, according to Klaus Reicherter of Aachen University in Germany and his colleagues. The Greek historian Herodotus described the strange retreat of the tide and massive waves at Potidaea, making his account the first description of a historical tsunami. Reicherter and colleagues have added to the story by sampling sediments on the Possidi peninsula in northern Greece where Potidaea (and its modern counterpart, Nea Potidea) is located. The sediment cores show signs of “high-energy” marine events like significant waves, and excavations in the suburbs of the nearby ancient city of Mende have uncovered a high-energy level dated to the 5th century B.C. The Mende layer contains much older marine seashells that were probably scoured from the ocean bed and deposited during a tsunami. Earthquake forecast modeling in the North Aegean Basin near the peninsula suggests that future earthquakes in the area could produce significant tsunami waves, although the area is not included currently in the ten “tsunami” prone regions of Greece. However, Reicherter and colleagues say their new findings suggest the Thermaikos Gulf where the peninsula is located should be included in tsunami hazard calculations, especially since the area is densely populated and home to many holiday resorts. –Terra Daily

Tornado in the Netherlands?

BY CHILLYMANJARO – APRIL 26, 2012

POSTED IN: TORNADOES

A small tornado has been caught on video on the ground in the Netherlands. The twister was stirring up dust over tilled land in southeastern Netherlands, near the Germany border, late last Friday, local time. Although the video did not clearly show a funnel, it did reveal dark cloud bases, confirming that it was more than a mere “dust devil.” Weather observations from nearby Maastricht indicated that a thunderstorm was in the area at the reported time of the tornado. Even so, temperature and dew point, key markers used in forecasting tornadoes, were relatively low, suggesting that the phenomenon was an example of a “cold air funnel.”  (AccuWeather)

Tornadoes are not unheard-of in western Europe. Last year there were reports of tornadoes in Spain, Portugal, France, UK, Poland, Germany and Austria.

Flash floods hit Nairobi and parts of Kenya

BY CHILLYMANJARO – APRIL 26, 2012

Flash flooding has hit Kenya during the last few days as the height of the rainy season unfolds. Wednesday, renewed cloudbursts pounded Nairobi and other parts of Kenya. Nairobi and much of Kenya sees the peak of its rainiest season during April, a month prone to frequent showers and occasional drenching thunderstorms. Nairobi’s Jomo Kenyatta Airport picked up 74 mm (2.9 inches) of rain within 24 hours which ended Wednesday. Weather forecasters believe that the weather in Kenya will stay favorable for localized torrential rain and flash flooding through at least the end of the week.

April marks the heart of the yearly rainy season in this part of East Africa, and flash floods triggered by sudden cloudbursts do occasionally happen.

The video bellow, published Monday, show flowing water impeding travel at a low-water crossing in Lodwar.
