“All authority of any kind, especially in the field of thought and understanding, is the most destructive, evil thing. Leaders destroy the followers and followers destroy the leaders. You have to be your own teacher and your own disciple. You have to question everything that man has accepted as valuable, as necessary.”
— J. Krishnamurti, Freedom from the Known

Getting More Out of Life When You Have Less Money - Cheryl Magyar

“The real measure of your wealth is how much you’d be worth if you lost all your money.” ~Unknown

When we find ourselves not having “enough,” times may be rough; however, this is only our first glance, our perceived perception.

Not all who have little are poor. None who live simply fit into the status quo. And none of us deserves to be judged for what we do or do not own.

Poverty lines are a general measure of separating the classes, but they fail to feel emotions, see our genuine qualities, or tell the stories of our lives.

Neuroplasticity: Your Brain’s Amazing Ability to Form New Habits - The Unbounded Spirit

brain nerves

One of the most popular areas of research in psychology these days is neuroplasticity.  Neuroplasticity refers to the brain’s ability to restructure itself after training or practice.  In many ways, neuroplasticity is what makes personal growth and development possible at its most basic level.  With the understanding that change is indeed possible, you’re able to focus on the ways in which you’d like to grow instead of whether or not it’s achievable for you.  It’s possible, it’s proven, and now it’s up to you!

Walk in the Forest to Heal Oneself - Fractal Enlightenment

forest-bathingI have always been a nature lover, who appreciates spending time outdoors and soaking in the positive energy of the green surroundings. So I was simply thrilled when I came across a popular practice in Japan called ‘Shinrin-yoku’ which means ‘taking in the forest atmosphere’ also known as ‘forest bathing‘.

Spending time in nature is healing energy for the mind, body and soul. The idea with Shinrin-yoku, a term coined by the government in 1982 but inspired by ancient Shinto and Buddhist practices, is to let nature enter your body through all five senses, and feel at one with the forest. It is about being mindful of your surroundings and the experience.

What Does Emotional Resilience Mean to You? - Marquita Herald

Gratitude is a prayer for goodness to abound - Positive Thoughts

When you express gratitude, you raise the vibrations around you to a higher frequency. You create positive energy that emanates out from you and returns to you as wonderful experiences. You become magnetic. Good things and good people gravitate toward you because you’re such a joy and delight to be around.

An attitude of gratitude is naturally attractive. It has the power to turn challenges into possibilities, problems into solutions, and losses into gains. It shifts the energy. It expands our vision and allows us to see what might normally be invisible to someone with a limiting attitude.

Gratitude is a prayer for goodness to abound. I think the words “ thank you” are two of the most beautiful words in the language. They can light up someone’s face and help the other person know that he or she is appreciated. It opens the doors to our hearts and allows us to feel connected.

Ode to Oneness - Heavenletters

God said:

It is like you, human being that you are, have come into My Life, a welcomed visitor. I am a genial host. I invite you to sit down with Me. I offer you the splendors of the Universe as you might offer a guest tea. This is hospitality, beloveds. This is hospitality at its best. You are welcomed into the threshold of My heart and into the center of My heart.

Plump yourself down, and notice where you are. It is not possible for you to leave the Palace of My Heart, and why, why would you ever want to?

It is a good thing to know where you are, and where you are is in My heart. You are tucked in nicely here. You warm My heart, and I warm yours. Here, We hold hands, and, here, We roam the valleys and the mountains and the fields and the forests. It is here in My heart where you meet people. Just think, you are as good as the host or hostess of My heart, and you welcome all.

Everyone wants a welcome, and you are a welcomer. Welcome all to Earth. Move over a little, and make room to seat everyone. My heart expands to receive everyone, and you are learning to welcome all. It is easy to understand why you are on Earth. It is such a little thing I ask you to do – to make room for everyone in your heart. This is how you usher everyone into My heart.

Truth Is Disturbing to Those Living a Lie

Would you rather have a reassuring lie or a disturbing truth?

The mind likes to believe it has life figured out, it desires complacency and conformity. It automatically accepts things that support it's illusions. These make the mind feel like it's in control, it feels powerful, it feels right. It can keep building up illusions, and surround itself with people who support them.

The mind wants things predictable, and when something comes along and disturbs this, the mind becomes afraid. The mind doesn't usually like change, these threaten its beliefs and its false sense of peace. People react with rejection, projection, "fight or flight", all of the various defense mechanisms to protect what the mind believes.

Let Go of Fear to Embrace Love - Not Just A Blonde

You gotta let go of Fear to embrace Love. If you are not feeling the love… start looking at your fears and ask God to help you overcome them. Fear is something each of us experiences. It can be a valuable teacher that show us where we need to grow, where we need to let go or where we need to go!

Fear should not control us! Fear is only a messenger that lets us know we are not on the path God has intended for us. We should not try to avoid this feeling, but take notice of it and use it to help steer our path towards Love.

God has a plan for us. We aren’t meant to live a life ruled by fear, but a life filled with LOVE!

❤️Ann
