In the US today, cigarette smoking causes one-third of all cancer fatalities and one-fourth of all fatal heart attacks. In addition to this, there are many illnesses and diseases that are a direct result of cigarette smoking. This includes chronic bronchitis, emphysema, assorted respiratory ailments, angina, peptic ulcers, heartburn, and diarrhea. A recent estimate is that smoking is a factor in more than 15% of all of the deaths occurring annually in the US. Obviously, smoking is a high-risk behavior with deadly consequences. Smokers can expect to shorten their lives by approximately ten to fifteen years. Intellectually most people will agree that smoking is a very harmful activity. Overcoming the addictions associated with cigarette smoking can be an overwhelming prospect, however. It can be done, though, and it can be done naturally without substituting other harmful ingredients that can further jeopardize one’s health.

i appreciate the attempt

i really do appreciate the attempt, but this article doesn't really help much. i have been a smoker for 15 years and try to quit every few years for the last ten. would like to try hypnotic therapy but can't afford that, well could have afforded it  year ago but recently decided to cut down to minimum hours so i could be happier but broke. seems i have to sell something almost every month on craigslist just to get by. can't wait for "the event", get rid of this whole money system. don't want to try pharms again. the one huge help they mention is avoiding other smokers while you quit. i work in a hospital and of course no smoking in there, and sometimes when a craving hits, i'll forget about it if i'm too busy to get out when i am working with non-smokers. i did switch to the indian spirit smokes though, suppose to be non-gmo with only tobacco in them, no additives, but maybe that just became my excuse to keep smoking. but thank you for posting this, even though it didn't help me, i'm sure it will help someone. love and light to all, and to all and good morning

this reality is an illusion!

So it will also stand to reason, cigarettes attach whatever energy you believe!

Thomas is correct, the stress of living in this reality, waiting for this Event to occur, encourages more smoking, not less.

We wait and wait! In excitement...........that the world is really going to change, once and for all.

Blessings.

don't get me wrong

i also understand that breaking a addiction habit is probably part of our clearing work, just like the clearing of anything else that doesn't serve us. i do enjoy smoking, although i also understand it isn't to healthy and probably lowers my vibration. i am a very happy person who does his best to spread love. and maybe it's a excuse but a small part of me believes that as i try to spread these messages, not just the spiritual part of it, but the health topics and how a healthier lifestyle can "stick it to the man", i feel people can connect better with me because they know i still have my problems as well. me and my kids try very hard to read labels, avoid GMO'S, eat organic, avoid fluoride and other toxins, but once again, it ain't cheap. we do very well with the funds we have and i know we have it alot easier than alot our brothers and sisters around the world. in short, i'll guess i'll quit when i'm ready, or i go so broke i can't buy em anymore. thanks to those that understand, and to those that don't, i get that as well, i still love you all
