The Transition from Mind to Heart

The mind is capable of creating many interesting things; it can construct an elaborate world from the simplest of ideas. If you let you mind run away with itself it will try to create rules to explain absolutely everything, but eventually it realises that can never 'know', and the task is endless and weary.

This is where your heart steps in and softly reassures that there is no need to work everything out because you already knew everything all along. The mind only hears that it is not needed and goes into defensive mode. "If I don't work everything out you will be in danger, I will make you safe", it says. But of course you are already safe, the mind only has to agree that this is so and experience will confirm it Your mind is a wondrous thing, it creates form as it pleases and is definitely not redundant.

There is no need to despise the mind, instead, let your ponderings be motivated by the joy and wonderment of discovery and understanding, bringing form to the things your heart already knows.

It is the simplest ideas that offer the greatest understanding.
