The core of our solar system, the Sun, is starting his transit in Scorpio this week. Part of the yearly cycle is breakdown and decay, but reflecting on how this refreshes and renews the earth - and our selves - in preparation for the next yearly cycle can be useful. Scorpio's more productive energies encourage us to change and transform ourselves, becoming stronger in the process.

Aries
Mars becomes stronger this week, and then much stronger by the end of the week! A plus: Mars is still conjunct the Galactic Center on October 24; you have plenty of energy and drive this week. Another plus: Mars and Venus work well together this week - a bit of effort goes a long way in your love life. By week's end Mars has some real power, be careful how you use it. Just for Aries this week: with all of the excitement this week, beware of entanglement from intense situations.
Taurus
Your artistic and material side shines this week. Creativity and balance accentuate your love life, especially by the end of the week. Do be cautious of becoming deferential to strong-willed people. Your best work tends to be accomplished on October 28 and 29. Don't be hesitant to initiate projects and implement ideas on those dates either! The feeling of being under an authority figure's thumb at the week's beginning relents after October 25. Just for Taurus this week: like being chased? Watch for it!
Gemini
Start moving forward on October 25 - the trickster is no longer retrograde. Power struggles can start, or become more intense. Use your quick thinking this week to avoid situations you can't win. The emotional life is relatively smooth, especially on October 27, but might feel a bit rough on October 29. Again, your cognitions help you ride these emotional waves. Look for a strong benefactor or beneficial situation on October 30. Just for Gemini this week: appeasement just might help you obtain what you want.
Cancer
October 24 and 25 are prime days for reflecting and considering karmic influences. Dreaming about what you want is also apropos; take action to help make your dreams a reality on October 29 and 30! If midweek is too hot and unpredictable, listen to your inner voice telling you to take a needed break. Overall, not a bad week. Just for Cancer this week: you are more concerned than usual with what others think; okay, but don't let it drag you down.
Leo
This week feels a bit watery for you, but October 26 and 27 fire you up again. The second half of the week is prime time for taking action, especially to enhance your esteem or image. You can also be quite close to your significant other this week. Careful not to be too domineering! Also by week's end, personal power is on the rise. Relationships are high on your list this week, but beware of conflicts. Just for Leo this week: If anyone has the key to understanding potential conflicts this week, it's you.
Virgo
Ahhh, Mercury direct! (October 25). An appropriate way to start your week, which is like a long crescendo. Build up your energy and drive and use it by October 30. Your mind has a laser-like precision for two entire days on October 24 and 25. Use that to strategize for the rest of the week. Brilliant ideas are not out of the ordinary this week for you. Work especially hard on October 29 for that breakthrough idea. Staying behind the scenes with Scorpio Sun - at least part of the time - might be of benefit. Just for Virgo this week: if a project or relationship is failing, taking action is better than doing nothing!
Libra
You can get along with Pluto - and he'll draw much closer by October 28. A masculine figure can be very supportive this week, as long as he's not stifling. Authority can be draining this week, but use your passion - love life is good and gets even better after October 25. Creativity is heightened with your significant other by week's end. Jupiter will give you more of a boost next week; for now, at least major disruptions are less likely. Just for Libra this week: you may be the only one who knows something - will you share it with the Sun in the sign of secrecy?
Scorpio
You're strong this week, and stronger at week's end. Information isn't easy to obtain this week, but cooperation can uncover what you need to know. Your emotional life is on the same page as your basic identity on October 24 and 25. Look to close companions for help this week if you need it, especially around October 30. Mars' energy becomes quite useful and subservient during the second half of the week, providing plenty of energy especially at work. Personal reserves and assistance from others surely will help you deal with shocks and surprises. Just for Scorpio this week: can all of that power fight fate?
Sagittarius
October 26 and 27 might be fun days for you. Saturn has been tempering possible excesses for a while - borrowing a lesson from Libra about balancing? Use Mars' energy and drive right up until October 26! After that he leaves your Sun's sign. Consider your past in helping to create your future by thinking about it! Mercury is very useful in this manner for you on October 30. Just for Sagittarius this week: feminine energies are strong for you this week. What higher purpose will you contribute to?
Capricorn
Power issues intensify this week. Mars entering your Sun's sign at mid-week suggests waiting until at least October 26 to make your move, unless you must before then. Taking time for family is important - how will you divide family time and career time this week? Creative thinking outweighs logic this week - how will creativity move you forward? Jupiter's optimism also gives you a boost if you need it. Just for Capricorn this week: Judiciously relating to others is prudent and beneficial this week.
Aquarius
Run with your ideas this week; they can be practically limitless and quite useful. Be cautious of conflict, a hint of it begins on October 30. Nice times with significant others is a prominent theme for you this week, especially on October 26 and 27. Ending the week with the Moon in your Sun's sign is also a boon. A potentially nice week, but with a possible down side - will you just coast? Just for Aquarius this week: look for fun with a kindred spirit.
Pisces
Love life is potentially quite rewarding - more so if it's the focus of your energy this week. October 27 can be the day when you have exactly what you want. Be careful, the price might be too high! Take a break if you are emotionally drained in the middle of the week. Vitality, will, and conscious experience is generally favorable for you this week. Just for Pisces this week: consider the strong creative intelligence working for you these days, when you encounter obstacles.
