Weekly Tarot Reading ~ April 1 - April 7

yourgypsysoul's picture

This week, I got some guidance toward the colors of the energies that we’ll be immersed in this coming week. This is the first time that this has happened and I’m still trying to integrate it into the readings, so if you have any questions just let me know.

Some days have a rather short reading, but I get the feeling that a lot of this week’s energy has to do with the decisions we make on a daily basis. Nothing is “set in stone” so to speak until we actually take the first steps on the path we choose to make. Make a conscious effort to set aside time each day to be still and get in touch with your heart center. The information and knowing that comes through this center is very valuable at this moment.

Along those lines, energy is fluid, so the specific influences of the cards may be felt prior to and in the days after the card is pulled for. This is especially true for Major Arcana cards, signified by a capital M in parenthesis. Reversed cards are signified with an R in parentheses. If a card is reversed, it means that its energy has not fully manifested yet. This week, we seem to be building to a crescendo of energies which arrive on Saturday.

The theme for this week seems to be balance.

Monday: The World (R) (M)
Tuesday: King of Pentacles (R)
Wednesday: Judgement (R) (M)
Thursday: 7 of Cups (R)
Friday: 9 of wands (R)
Saturday: Knight of Cups
Sunday: High Priestess (M)

Monday ~ The World

I got a very warm feeling for the energies of this day – like I’m floating on clouds or getting a great big hug. I feel a lot of pink energy as well. It’s a light pink, like rose.  Rose quartz would be good to carry today if you’re into crystals.

This card is reinforced by Thursday’s 7 of Cups. Whatever we create and work towards in this energy will come up again throughout the week, especially on Thursday.

You’re so close to the finish line and you’re beginning to feel it. Every once in a while you get these feelings of pure bliss. Savor them but don’t worry as there will be plenty more of that coming your way.

It is a card of fulfillment and completing. Watch as all your heart’s desires and more begin to take shape.

“You are not a drop in the ocean… You are the entire ocean in a drop.” – Rumi

You must remember to give as you receive. The world needs you and your uniqueness for complete balance. If you haven’t felt like you hit your stride yet, be patient and get to know yourself. Spend time in Nature.

Tuesday – King of Pentacles

The King of Pentacles is all about support. I’m seeing orange colored energies. With the pentacles, this support could come in the support of security, material or practical concerns.

Since it is reversed, don’t expect an answer to all your concerns in these areas. Rather, watch for opportunities which could help you to take steps to resolving the core issue.

This card forms a pair with another court card, the Knight of Cups on Wednesday. We will be reminded with the Knight of the opportunities we notice with the King.

Wednesday – Judgement

Wednesday is a test of sorts. You are being forced to come to terms on something and the choice you make will determine the path you take. One decision is not better than another. Rather, two different paths to the same place. It will be clear to you what you must do. If you are in touch with your center, the decision you need to make will be easy. If you are still in limbo, hold off as long as possible and be sure to spend time in meditation to bring you the information you seek. If you’ve been feeling burdened lately, you may feel a relief today after coming to terms with the choice you must make.

Be open to signs and opportunities that may open you to new possibilities for they will be coming steadily.

Today is a day of forgiving.

Green colored energy

You may need to forgive yourself or others many times throughout the course of these energies in able to come to terms with the decision.

Thursday – The 7 of cups

The shadowed man on this card represents the part of our self which we shed yesterday when practicing forgiveness. In releasing this energy, you are presented with a world of opportunities. Don’t get too caught up today wishing you were somewhere else. You are exactly where the Universe needs you to be. This card is a card of disorder. So don’t get too caught up in your emotions if you’re feeling confused, uncertain or completely afraid of what comes next. There’s a very real possibility that with the decision you are in the process of forming, or that you have already formed earlier in the week that you will have absolutely no idea what comes next.

Look carefully at your patterns and habits today. What is and isn’t working for you? Are your routines too rigid – stifling the creative energy that burns to flow through you? Are you too loose, letting disorder and idleness run your life? What do you need to tweak in order to bring things into balance?

Friday – 9 of Wands

The bliss you had felt earlier in the week seems to be eons ago now. You’d give anything to go back to that feeling again. The good news is that it never left you. The bad news is that today it’s going to be slightly more difficult to reach. You may be feeling exhausted, worn out and overworked. You may be outgrowing your current responsibilities and longing for new vistas or opportunities.

The man on the card appears to be wounded, and you may be feeling the same way. Still, he stands tall with his staff and refuses to waver. This energy is available to all of us today. If you’re feeling run down take some time to center and breathe this steadfast energy into your body. Allow yourself to be renewed and reenergized with Divine Light. People and situations are relying on you for your enlightened perspective.

The day may dawn when fair play, love for one’s fellow men, respect for justice and freedom, will enable tormented generations to march forth triumphant from the hideous epoch in which we have to dwell. Meanwhile, never flinch, never weary, never despair. – Winston Churchill

For Saturday and Sunday, the cards are finally back into a non-reversed position. This is the first time this has occurred in over a week. If you read last week’s reading, all the cards were reversed. This means that more tangible confirmations to your decisions may start to take place.

Saturday – Knight of Cups

The Knight of Cups brings us in touch with our emotional and spiritual side. We need to be in touch with our heart center especially today to bring in these new energies. I’m seeing that these are rainbow colored energies. Be creative today with where you want life to take you. Imagine where you would go and what you would do if all possibilities were open to you. Meditate on that thought then write out your vision. Draw out your vision. Just get it out of you. Find the balance within yourself so that you know when you are not getting carried away.

Sunday – High Priestess

Note: I couldn’t find my camera cord tonight… so I’ll upload the picture mentioned below tomorrow.

Ahhh, this energies of this card just feel so soothing. I’ve included a close-up of this card because it really speaks to me. Take a minute or so and just look at it. Can you feel the energies?

These are the ultimate energies of the Golden Age – the loving, forgiving, compassionate Divine feminine energies. Yesterday brought in a boatload of this new energy and today brings a whole new sense of wonder. You may be amazed at the things you can accomplish. Today is a day to spend time going within and getting used to the new atmosphere encompassing you. This is the Feminine energy, the Yin energy. We need to spend as much time as possible going within, and becoming one with Nature if that’s possible. Even just going outside and enjoying the fresh air will help to balance you today if it gets to be too much.

Tarot cards are so interesting that I always feel if I could learn this technique. But it needs lots of dedication time. So I feel when I will be 60 years of age, I will definitely learn it.

Hi Anna,

Tarot is definitely an interesting subject. I'm having so much fun getting to know my cards better and exploring. It's defintiely a topic I feel like I'll never stop learning about. Every time I pull a card I see/feel something new about it.

Best wishes <3
