God said:
What is disappointment but expectation unfulfilled. Disappointment, something that all My children on Earth seem to know very well, isn’t so big as it feels. Disappointment has no existence of its own. Disappointment depends on something else altogether. Disappointment is a non-entity. Yet how wrapped up My children are in disappointment. Disappointment is like an appointment unmet. Keep seeking to know your furthermost desires.
Once you cried over a broken doll. Now you cry over something else. What would you have had if your doll had not broken? You would have had the idea that your doll was fine just the way you had the idea it was broken. The meaningfulness of your doll can only be a projection. Perhaps you are beginning to see the powerhouse your mind is. We can say that your mind can turn wine into water as a Great One turned water into wine.
Reality is truly in another league than what you seem to see before you. What do you know of anything, dear friends, beyond your interpretation of it?
I say all is well, and you do not see what I see. You may be polite and guffaw behind your hand, yet you guffaw nevertheless. It is not so much that We have a difference of opinion as We have a difference of sight. What a vast difference that is.
And so we have witnesses who witness differently.
The world you live in is a made-up world. Ingredients are scattered in varying ways and made to look like something else. There is a game called Pick-up Sticks. The same sticks are parlayed in many ways. No toss is exactly the same. It makes a difference whether you stand at East or West or North or South. It makes a difference whether the Sun shines in your eyes or on the back of your head. It makes a difference where you are looking, and it makes a difference what you are thinking or not thinking.
All the illusion you witness certainly seems true. Seeming true and the Truth may well not be the same for a myriad of reasons or no reason at all. Welcome to life in the world called Earth.
And if Earth bore a different name, might you know it differently? This gives pause for thought. If you bore a different name, might you be different? And yet I maintain there is no cause and effect. This understanding depends upon the layer of thought you are situated in. Come closer, and you will begin to see as I do.
This is not effort to see as I see, you understand. When you stand at the peak of a mountain with Me, naturally you will see the same valley I do. Half way up the mountain, you can only see what you see before you climb up higher and stand next to Me.
Sometimes We speak of the heights, and sometimes We speak of the depths. In both cases, We speak of deeper vision. The heights and the depths mean the same which makes clear how contrary the world you live in is or appears to be. Sights are as you see them, and words mean what you say they do. A certain word in one language means bright light. In another language, it means a bad place. How confusing is the world you live in temporarily when, in Reality, you permanently live elsewhere.
And, so, on Earth, you play Pick-up Sticks. You play with Play Dough. You make mud-pies, and you give the vitality of life into what you touch. Glass breaks easily. Soil crumbles. Rocks erode slowly.
What is a body to think? Nothing in the world stays the same, and, yet, this is the game as it is played on Earth.
Yet, underlying it all, there is a stability of Infinity and Eternity and Vastness beyond measure. You live in the finite while you are established in Infinity. You skate on ice, and you swim in the water, while the actual lay of the land is Infinity, and you are settled in.
