Shelley’s Note: One of the things that has always amazed me over the years of working with Gabriel is how often he gives information before you need it. Yesterday this recent daily message from March 7 came back into my awareness and I was struck by how it so perfectly applies to what we are going through right now. Since it is thursday I decided to share it again as a throwback thursday post because I feel that it even though I just recently shared it, it has more impact today than the day it was posted. I hope you are being safe, honouring your needs and feelings, and are able to find some of the gifts this peeling back process is opening up for us. We are all in this together.

Many of you, as you have wrapped up the first phase of your incarnation, may have found your life stripped down to bare essentials. You have left the old behind, you haven’t quite connected fully to the new, and may feel in a state of suspended animation or unsure of how to proceed.
This phase is much like doing a complete renovation on a home you have lived in for a long time but has become outdated. In order to really update it, it is often necessary to ‘take things down to the studs’. You peel everything back to the basic structure so you can examine all the systems in place, make any repairs that are necessary, and then start to rebuild. It’s not uncommon to find beautiful things, as well, that have been hidden from view until you began this process!
All political reforms are reactions -- and when you react you are never free. This has to be understood. It only gives you an appearance of freedom, but it is never true freedom.
Out of reaction, total freedom is not possible. Out of reaction, true freedom is not possible. And only total freedom is true freedom.
You can go against the past, but just in being against it you are caught by it from the back door. That's why it has happened again and again that with whomsoever you are fighting, you become like him. Choose your enemies very carefully, because you will be determined by them! Fighting with them, you will have to learn their strategies, obviously. You will have to learn their tactics, you will have to learn their ways. Slowly slowly, enemies become very alike -- more alike than friends.
Right now it may feel as if the future of your world is uncertain. However, there is one thing The Universe would like you to know during this trying time; every person is in the process of re-learning what your societies have forgotten.
The joys of human connection.
The importance of time with family.
The growth and learning that comes from a connection with yourself and The Universe.
The reestablishment of your connection to and with the Earth and nature.
The re-discovery of a deeper level of kindness and compassion for those around you.
Think of it as a crash course in remembering what is important. You may not fully understand what is happening or what may be coming and that is okay. The Universe asks you to see being present, fully engaged in this moment and alive as a gift that has yet to show all its benefits. ~ Creator
Being observational rather than judgmental of your circumstances and experiences is what helps keep you in empowered forward movement, for it is your inner wise one that does the observing and navigates by responding rather than reacting. This allows you to stay out of resistance and to stay in the flow. It is the flow that supports you in every now moment, and if there is anything that needs to be adjusted or tended to, it will naturally come up into your awareness.
You can find balance in the midst of any storm by anchoring deeply into your faith and trust and inner knowing, secure in the fact that every single phase of the unfoldment is serving you in some way, even if you do not have the vantage point to fully understand how at this time. Navigating through the unknown with wisdom and presence is the specialty of the heart, Dear Ones, and the skill you are honing right now that will allow you to fully receive the gifts of transformation that are available to you during these unprecedented times. ~Archangel Gabriel through Shelley Young
Your freedom and your love have to grow hand in hand, in deep embrace, in a kind of dance, helping each other. And then the total man is born, who lives in the world and is not of the world at all. Then the man is born in whom extremes meet and merge and become complementaries; then the man is rich. Just to love without freedom is to be impoverished, or just to be free without love is to live in loneliness, sadness, darkness.
Freedom is needed for love to grow, love is needed so that freedom can be nourished. Remember constantly not to choose between these two. Both have to be absorbed together, digested together. Love has to become your circumference, your action, and freedom has to become your being, your center, your soul.

Whether you are working with The Universe on your own or with someone else, the human mind may come up with a myriad of reasons to stop, leave things as they are or refuse the work altogether. Now is the perfect time to put an end to your squirming! (Smiling) Get down to business and get rid of what is holding you back. The Universe believes in and wants the best for you! ~ Creator
It is through the stripping away of distractions you become clear on what is working for you or not. There is nothing like a sense of deprivation to give you clarity on what it is you need and enjoy!
That is one of the many gifts of the phase you are in – the opportunity to explore who you are and what matches you today in preparation of re-entering the world in new and empowered ways.
You might think of it as stepping out onto a brand new timeline. In preparation of that, you are currently creating the foundation that supports that platform to launch from. Based on your greater clarity and awareness, what is the prevalent energy of that platform? What do you need to give yourself, right now, to make that new phase fully possible and sustainable?
