They are there to solve the UK's pressing problems, but it seems MPs need some help too. The recent arrest of a Labour MP after a late-night brawl in the House of Commons bar, is just the latest in a string of alcohol fuelled scandals. RT's Laura Smith reports on how some Parliamentarians are said to be drinking their way through life at Westminster.

According to Matthis Chiroux, the US Army flag has 183 campaign ribbons on it, which averages out to approximately 1.3 wars per year. High Treason: Defense Secretary Leon Panetta Declare Congress Invalid 2012 ... wow... wow...

Defense Secretary Leon Panetta's testimony asserting that the United Nations and NATO have supreme authority over the actions of the United States military, words which effectively declare Congress a ceremonial relic, have prompted Congressman Walter Jones to introduce a resolution that re-affirms such behavior as an "impeachable high crime and misdemeanor" under the Constitution.

During a Senate Armed Services Committee hearing yesterday, Panetta and Joint Chiefs of Staff Chairman Gen. Martin Dempsey brazenly admitted that their authority comes not from the U.S. Constitution, but that the United States is subservient to and takes its marching orders from the United Nations and NATO, international bodies over which the American people have no democratic influence.

Panetta was asked by Senator Jeff Sessions, "We spend our time worrying about the U.N., the Arab League, NATO and too little time, in my opinion, worrying about the elected representatives of the United States. As you go forward, will you consult with the United States Congress?"

The Defense Secretary responded "You know, our goal would be to seek international permission. And we would come to the Congress and inform you and determine how best to approach this, whether or not we would want to get permission from the Congress."

Despite Sessions' repeated efforts to get Panetta to acknowledge that the United States Congress is supreme to the likes of NATO and the UN, Panetta exalted the power of international bodies over the US legislative branch.

Sources in European credit management were claiming early this morning that,as suggested here yesterday, the Hedge Fund sector of the credit-swap bondholder haircut may well be in a position to at least embarrass Athens, and probably seal its fate. Following Louise Armitstead’s late piece at the Daily Telegraph website last night, at 3 am GMT today Greek officials expressed confidence, and the Wall Street Journal felt the deal would go ahead. But this is not the view of some European credit suppliers – and  Banking News Greece (BNG)  is now also running an acceptance breakdown that suggests there is trouble immediately ahead for Evangelos Venizelos the Greek finance minister.

Free at last, free at last!

Thank heavens, I’m out of the Pen and back at the computer. Time to shake my hands and legs and walk out into the sun.

What an incredible month I’ve had.

 

If you’re looking for revelations, I may have to disappoint you.

No, I did not go aboard the ships. The Boss said I was at the center of intense observation and would bring harm to someone. I know that Dave Schmidt and BZ Riger, who were to have gone ahead as scouts, drew heat and probably were harassed (we can’t say for sure because black operatives don’t leave notes). More about that later.

 

I’m not a person who courts revelations, looks for insider information or seeks out secrets. In fact I told the Boss not so long ago that I was not interested in that role and he replied that transparency was the nature of his work and that I wasn’t required to be a secret sharer. That’s fine with me. I’m here to emerge, stand forth as my truth, and serve. In whatever way is needed.
