Roses in the Snow

Anonymous's picture

Roses in the Snow by Glynn

Serenity Resident

When I was young, Not yet old enough to realize

I would ask my Mom, Just what is rarest prize

She'd wink then reply: You must wait until the fallen snow

And then as you walk, Look for the roses that bloom below

Last night I was awakened by a brilliant hue.

Not the sky but the heavens were shakened by this cerulean blue

Across this path of nocturnal shade was you in the corner of the room

Bathed in a light that will never fade was my cherished blossom in full bloom

Stargazing on the trampoline

Rebeccaa's picture

While I lay there looking at the night sky

I see the wonders and wonder why

The breeze blows softly over my face

And I feel the oneness and I sigh

How much longer I cant wait

Will it be until we de-alienate

I want to be one and undone

To be that wonder and have some fun

A little bit

Rebeccaa's picture

All my life I have pondered your existence

Wondered how you would be

Were you in the air I breath or in the tree?

I thought I would have to die to see

Through my childhood and my teens

You were just a glimmer in the sky

I loved the stars and how they made me feel

This is where I thought you to be

Finding my feet and creating life
