Iceland is a great example of a country which had the courage to prosecute bankers, and that’s largely because it’s not controlled by the Federal Reserve and the Bank of England, Max Keiser, financial analyst and host of the Keiser Report on RT, says.

Four former bank bosses in Iceland have been jailed for financial fraud. They were accused of hiding the fact that a Qatari investor bought into the firm [Kaupthing Bank], with money lent illegally by the bank itself. It went bust in 2008, helping to cripple Iceland's economy.

Lloyd Pye has been searching for the origins of a mysterious skull that he calls the “Star Child” since 1999. He has done many lectures on the anomalous nature of the skull, which he believed may be of extraterrestrial origins. Pye has been battling cancer, and unfortunately he lost that battle on December 9, 2013.

UFO enthusiast is Obama’s newest advisor

Johh Podesta was Bill Clinton’s chief of staff and aided in Obama’s transition into the White House in 2008. He is also known to be a sci-fi enthusiast, and has been involved with efforts to get the government to disclose all it knows about the UFO phenomenon.  His UFO interests have made headlines this week after a story on the subject was posted by Huffington Post reporter Lee Speigel.

Podesta served on Clinton’s staff from 1993 until Clinton left office. His final position was as Clinton’s Chief of Staff. He has remained influential in politics through a liberal think tank that he founded called the Center for American Progress.

France has adopted a bill allowing authorities to access and gather Internet user data without judicial approval just a few weeks following Paris’s outrage over spying efforts by US National Security Agency (NSA).

The legislation, approved Thursday by the French Senate, has been censured by activists as a measure "against the principles of democracy."

The U.S. government lobotomized roughly 2,000 mentally ill veterans — and likely hundreds more — during and after World War II, according to a cache of forgotten memos, letters and government reports unearthed by The Wall Street Journal.

“They got the notion they were going to come to give me a lobotomy,” Roman Tritz, a World War II bomber pilot, told the newspaper in a report published Wednesday. “To hell with them.”
