In case some of you dont know(todays postings disappeared..) Facebook is commercial-lizing the site now.So anything you post CANT be shared en mass anymore and they want you to pay up $7/post.
This is like saying buying a happy meal lunch everytime you need to put stuff on the net.BTE, thats over $600 a month, one happy McDonalds lunch a day...
Im sorry, thats what a WEB SERVER is for. What a BLOG and a WEBSITE is for. If you dont like it, We'll use EFNET.We'll go underground. I WROTE the book on these protocols dont dare tell ME I dont have a voice or way to communicate..PEOPLE like ME built the DAMN INTERNET!
XCHAT is easy enough to come by and EFNET is usually text forums about software or tech support or the like. Its chat. But its not hi speed chat usually. Can almost always connect thru a browser proxy or directly thru xchat client itself.
TO HELL with this commercialization of tweets. I dont care how much it makes FB or TWITTER. I REFUSE TO BE OWNED.

Arduino based webserver is around 75 or so.BUILT. Cant promise you everything on an 8-bit microcontroller but people have used them as webservers..need either xbee or ethernet shield and the arduino base module.If yer good at hacking, you might be able to hack it together for less.

Eye see a backlash occurring much to the mass exodus instigated by Netflix when increasing monthly charges within the past year.

Both have already done that, they're just sneaky about it so it's only a little bit at a time and in ways many people wont notice. They know they can't do it too much, or else they'll be going to way of Digg and people will go find an alternative site.
Do you know how Facebook makes 90% of their profit? It's not from advertising, it's from selling your personal information to advertisers.

They are not charging anyone who Is on FB to do what I believe is the whole purpose FOR making FB......which is finding and keeping up with friends and sharing pictures, jokes and information.
People are not being charged for these things. At least not yet, anyway!
Those who USE FB in order to promote their business and/or products, in order to try to make a profit from this forum, should not expect to have this service for FREE! Because, it does indeed then become a "Service", not unlike putting an ad on T.V. or the radio or a magazine!
Why should one be able to make money by advertising on Facebook and NOT pay some kind of fee?
I do not have any affiliation with FB, other than having my personal FB Page, like most people. I am just thinking that it is only right to charge for Advertising. It's not FREE anywhere else!
Am I the only one that this makes perfect sense to?
I'm thinking that possibly Jazz has a connection with XCHAT and/or EFNET, and is giving them FREE Advertising right here!
