Deception - Knowing Whispers

will's picture
Anything that is manifested through the mind and imagination is open to deception, which is a counterfeit reality. On the surface, it seems real, but something just does not feel right about it.

Millions are trapped in the imagery of the imagination.  They are led to believe it is the truth in consciousness.  This imagery is an escape from an ego that finds itself bored and trapped in its limited state of consciousness.

The mind, ego and imagination conjure up illusions for escaping the doldrums of day-to-day existence. In time, these illusions are what become beliefs that are accepted within the culture and adopted as reality. They encompass all sorts of religious, philosophical and even psychological observations.

Truth is direct knowledge of the self in awareness, and the fulfillment of existence within us. Imagery within truth is the embodiment of existence and known as the knower.

The truth is our life not revealed. The mind is our hope of what may be true.

Dear one,

I get what you mean initially bored ego conjures up all kinds of imageries to escape existential boredom frustration etc.  but that last lines lose me completely.  Kindly explain!!!

I also agree and don't agree about imagination - you can turn your idea on its head and it is also true that Imagination is oft the ray of divine sunlight shining through the prison bars of our limited contracted consciousness hence mankind womankind's greatest art and epiphanies divine moments and possibilities have come through what the poet Blake called Jesus the Divine Imagination - ultimately everything is a mode of imagination as the English poet Coleridge put it echoeing the great German Idealist philosophers:  Imagination is the reproduction in the finite mind of the original creative act of the Infinite I Am.....and then "the deep truth is imageless"  Shelley - Both are true!!!

           Love,

           Al

I agree about imagination, it's part of what inspires us to create. He seems to be talking about what I would call fantasy and I think the last line is what happens if you chose to live in fantasy.
