The Story behind Dr. Greer's Obama Briefing
 
Obama's advisor Podesta's "biggest regret" was keeping the UFO issue secret.
 
 

Dr. Steven Greer is now confirming for the very first time that it was John Podesta to whom he provided the extensive briefing on UFOs shortly after President Obama took office in 2009 (clickhere for the cover letter to President Obama ).   Dr. Greer states: " An attorney working with Mr. Podesta requested the briefing and we assembled an extensive file for Mr. Podesta to provide to the newly- elected President Obama. There was also support for this process from a senior CIA official who is friendly to Disclosure and the briefing was also provided to then-CIA Director Leon Panetta .  Mr. Podesta came out publicly in support of Disclosure the year after the historic 2001 National Press Club Disclosure Project event (click here for National Press Club video) organized by Dr. Greer.

 

Dr. Greer continues, " We are encouraged that Mr. Podesta remains a stalwart supporter of Disclosure and we continue  to advocate for the release of illegally classified information and technology related to UFOs. "

Dear President Obama,
 
Since the mid-1950s, classified projects connected to extraterrestrial matters have operated outside of constitutionally required oversight and control by the President and Congress. This constitutes a grave and ongoing threat to US national security and global security and peace.
 
The implications of this subject are such that no aspect of life on Earth will be unaffected by its
Disclosure. We are acutely aware that this subject is highly controversial and suffers from great social opprobrium within certain elite circles and within the mainstream media.

PROJECT STARLIGHT DOCUMENTS AT CLINTON LIBRARY

An AP article by Andrew DeMillo, dated November 14, 2007, entitled Clinton Library Offers Peek at UFO Files(click here to read), refers to FOIA documents released from the Clinton Library.

One of these documents is a letter from The Project Starlight Coalition (the predecessor of Dr. Greer's Disclosure Project) signed by Dr. Steven Greer and others, urging President Clinton to declassify documents about extraterrestrials and UFOs.

This letter from The Project Starlight Coalition was the result of the historic Asilomar, California meeting that Dr. Greer organized and Laurance Rockefeller paid for in June of 1995, just before Clinton's meeting with Rockefeller in August 1995.

The letter of response from the White House to Dr. Greer is also included among the documents. The documents are all stamped CLINTON LIBRARY PHOTOCOPY.
