(Video) The Secrets Of The Pineal Gland

The pineal gland has drawn greater interest over the past decade or so, as people become increasingly curious about its true purpose, beyond what we might typically learn in Biology 101. Mystery surrounds this part of the brain, but thanks to ancient wisdom and some modern day experiments, we are coming closer to discovering its purpose, and realizing its significance to both our divinity and our origins.

Throughout History

Many ancient religions include symbolic representations of the pineal gland throughout their texts. It’s often represented as a pinecone, as it bears a resemblance to it, hence the name pine-al gland. Below you can see it appear as the Buddh’s hat, and it tops the pope’s staff, along with the Egyptian staff of Osiris. Truly, the symbol of the pinecone can be found across cultures and time periods, specifically in relationship to religious practices. Surely, this must represent something.

Modern Understanding

Many people believe that the pineal gland, to quote Rene Descartes, is “the seat of the soul.”  It is what connects us to source, the divine, to heaven — whichever you choose to call it — and when we pass away, the pineal gland actually bursts and releases a chemical known as dimethyl-tryptamine (DMT). Dimethyl-tryptamine just happens to be the most potent psychedelic substance known to man, so the fact that it is released into our systems at the point of death is intriguing, to say the least.

DMT: The Spirit Molecule

From 1990-1995, Dr. Rick Straussman conducted DEA approved clinical research monitoring the effects of DMT on human physiology. Conducted at the University of New Mexico, the study involved injecting 60 volunteers with DMT and then recording its effects. And the results were astounding. Many of the volunteers reported convincing encounters with intelligent nonhuman beings (aka aliens). Nearly all study participants said that their experience with this psychedelic substance was one of the most profound of their lives.

This book claims that DMT, which we already learned is naturally released by the pineal gland at death (and also when we dream), facilitates the movement of the soul in and out of the body and represents an integral part of birth and death experiences and higher states of meditation and sexual experiences. If this is a topic of interest to you, I highly recommend either reading the book or watching the documentary, DMT: The Spirit Molecule, hosted by Joe Rogan.

The Third Eye

There are many topics to explore when it comes to the pineal gland, but few are more interesting  than its other namesake. It has been referred to as the third eye for centuries, which is particularly fascinating because, when dissected using modern technology, it was discovered to contain rods and cones similar to those in our eyes. Perhaps we really are meant to see out of this eye as well? It’s worth considering. Many believe the pineal gland can become calcified, which can block our ability to connect to levels of consciousness deeper than the ones we are currently experiencing. This can happen when we consume too much fluoridated water, which is one of many reasons it is so important to filter the water you drink.

The video below dives into a lot more of the mystery and theories surrounding this gland. Check it out!
