~ Galactic Earth Daily Truth Report 05-9-2012 – Massive sunspot and wild weather~

Greetings Loved Beings,

as we ssaid in the last update the Sun’s getting Hot (lol) and chances for Big Flaires increase.

While volcanos and EQs are still at low levels weather is concerning many countries. Again we find places with warm weather records and on the other hand places with cold weather. England went to suffering from drought to flods and more havy rain warnings... but nothing is happening and the Planet is not changing...

See, no glasses are thick enough for those that do not want to See.

Thank You for sharing Love.

‪MONSTER Sunspot AR 1476 Threatens with Powerful Solar Flares

‪Sunspot AR1476 ULTRA CLOSE UP 09MAY12

Solar flare reaching M1.4 and two weak Earth-directed CMEs detected around Sunspot 1476

BY ADONAI – MAY 8, 2012

POSTED IN: SOLAR ACTIVITIES

Solar activity has been at moderate levels for the past 24 hours. Region 1476 (N11E35) is the most complex region on the visible disk, has grown to become a Fkc/beta-gamma-delta configuration, and has an area of approximately 940 Millionths.

It also produced the largest flare, a M1/1f on Tuesday, May 08, 2012 at 13:08 UTC, as well as several C-class flares. COR2 imagery from the STEREO-A spacecraft indicated two weak Earth-directed CMEs that are not expected to have significant impacts upon arrival.

Solar Activity Forecast: Solar activity is expected to be at low to moderate levels for the next three days (09 – 11 May).

Geophysical Activity Summary 07/21:00 UTC to 08/21:00 UTC: The geomagnetic field has been at quiet levels for the past 24 hours.

Geophysical Activity Forecast: The geomagnetic field is expected to be quiet to unsettled on day one (09 May). Day two (10 May) is expected to be at quiet to active levels with a chance for minor storm periods due to the effects of the Coronal Hole High Speed Stream (CH HSS) and the anticipated arrival of the CME that departed the solar disk on 07 May. Day three (11 May) is expected to return to quiet to unsettled levels as the effects of the CH HSS begin to wane.

Drought hits Angola’s farms

BY CHILLYMANJARO – MAY 9, 2012

POSTED IN: AGRICULTURE, DROUGHT

A drought is threatening Angola’s already modest food production, in a setback for efforts to revive once-vibrant farmlands abandoned during decades of war. The dry season that normally lasts only about three weeks in December has stretched to three months in parts of the southern African country where most regions are used to abundant rainfall almost year-round. Global risk consultancy Maplecroft last year ranked Angola as fifth in the world for unstable food supplies, placing it among troubled nations like Somalia. The government has promised to help farmers, mostly smallholders producing for their own survival, but most of that aid has yet to materialise. Dust storm off West Africa

BY CHILLYMANJARO – MAY 9, 2012

POSTED IN: DUST STORM

A dust storm in western Africa, which began in late April, 2012, continued through early May, sending billowing clouds of tan dust over the Atlantic Ocean and the Cape Verde Islands. This very large plume of thick dust began blowing off the coast of Africa on April, 29 and extended from Mali to Cape Verde. Unusually dry conditions in Mali have been cited as worsening the potential for dust storms by drying marsh sediments, and as a potential cause for this event.

Britain to see month's rain in one night as severe weather warnings issued

Michael Pickard

Daily Express

Tue, 08 May 2012 16:05 CD

Severe weather warnings were issued last night for large swathes of Britain as more torrential downpours are on the way.

The soaking, which has seen the soggiest April in 100 years, will continue with a month's rain expected to fall tomorrow night.

Motorists have been warned to take care as roads will be battered by gales reaching 50mph.

The Environment Agency, which has issued three flood warnings and 19 flood alerts, said more floods are expected. The Met Office said heavy overnight rain will hit the East today, with Scotland facing up to an inch of rain. Forecasters also said eight inches of snow will hit mountains across the northern half of Scotland by tonight.

Severe weather alerts have also been issued for the Midlands, the South and Wales for tomorrow night and Thursday morning, when up to two inches of rain will fall - a month's worth of rain in just 24 hours. The North will also be hit by showers.

The Met Office said: "Persistent heavy rain will spread across the country during Wednesday and Thursday.

"Due to the saturated nature of the ground, this may lead to disruption from localised surface water flooding across south-western Britain. Accompanying strong winds may increase to gale force, especially near the South Coast." The fresh downpour will follow a grim bank holiday weekend that saw Britain shiver as temperatures plummeted as low as -6C (21F) in the Scottish Highlands - colder than Siberia.

Sun lovers would have been better off on in Mirnvy, eastern Russia, which hit a sunny 17C while the Midlands here had to make do with 9C.

"And with massive Wednesday afternoon temperature differences - 1C on higher ground in the North and 18C a couple of hundred of miles south - there is potential for very significant rainfall. Parts can expect to get very wet."

Met Office forecaster Tom Morgan said: "Unfortunately there is no sign of a prolonged dry period in the next two to three weeks."

Four killed, 10 missing in Indonesian floods

Posted on May 9, 2012

May 9, 2012 – JAKARTA — Floods carrying volcanic debris swept through a town in eastern Indonesia Wednesday killing four people, including a nine-year-old child, and leaving 10 others missing, a government official said. A further 15 people were injured after floodwaters rampaged through 11 villages in Ternate City in North Maluku province, national disaster mitigation agency spokesman Sutopo Purwo Nugroho said. “Following heavy rains during the night, volcanic floods hit early morning at 2:00 am (1700 GMT),” Nugroho said, adding that more than 280 people were evacuated to government offices and schools. “Four people have died, 10 are missing and 15 have been injured. Fifty-eight families, or 284 people, have been evacuated,” he said. Two bridges and 15 homes were completely destroyed by the floods, while 173 other homes were damaged, Nugroho said. The floods carried volcanic mud from Mount Gamalama, which forms the entire island of Ternate in the Maluku chain, which erupted and spewed a column of ash 2,000 metres (6,500 feet) into the air in December. Two rivers on the eastern side of the volcano overflowed after Wednesday’s heavy rains carried volcanic debris down to the affected residential areas, Nugroho said. The Indonesian archipelago has dozens of active volcanoes. The country’s most active volcano, Mount Merapi in central Java, killed more than 350 people in a series of violent eruptions in 2010. – AFP

Lava surges with increased pressure from Kilauea, Hawaii

BY ADONAI – MAY 9, 2012

POSTED IN: VOLCANOES

Kīlauea’s lava flows have surged in activity on the coastal plain accompanying inflation at the summit, though following by about 24 hours. This activity is farther from the ocean than before, relatively close to the base of the pali but moving quickly across cooling flows from the previous two months.

Lava activity on the coastal plain will decrease again about 24 hours after the next deflation event, which could start at any time if the current pattern holds. These cycles have had a period of 5-7 days in recent weeks, keeping lava flows active and accessible on the coastal plain, but varying their intensity from day to day.

Meanwhile, the summit GPS line is showing contraction over the past week, against the pervasive trend of the past two years. Previous contractions have related to sudden new phases of flank eruption such as at Kamoamoa in March 2011, or to more gradual movement of the volcano’s southern flank in what is called a “slow earthquake”, which can accomodate on the order of 1 meter of surface seaward movement within a 24 hour period! Such a signal could also indicate a decrease in magma supply, however other publicly available indicators don’t seem to agree with this.

5.2 magnitude tectonic earthquake strikes off the coast of the Philippines

Posted on May 9, 2012

May 9, 2012 – COTABATO, Philippines – A magnitude 5.2 earthquake jolted southern Philippines Wednesday, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) said on Wednesday. According to Phivolcs, the quake, tectonic in origin with a depth of 34 km, was traced around 12:34 p.m. local time 150 km northeast of Tarragona town, in Davao Oriental. There were no reported casualties, said the agency. The Philippines sits in the so-called Pacific Ring of Fire, an area where continental plates collide, producing frequent earthquakes and volcanic activities. The worst earthquake in the country happened on August 16, 1976 after a tsunami caused by a quake killed between 5,000 and 8,000 people in the Moro Gulf region in southern Philippines. –Phil Star
