China's CEIC reported M 5.1 at shallow depth of 9 km. EMSC reported M 5.0 at depth of 10 km. USGS reported depth of 43 km for this earthquake and M 4.5 aftershock at depth of 9 km at 23:53 UTC. Epicenter was located 3 km (2 mi) WNW of Benzilan and 176 km (109 mi) NNW of Dayan, China at coordinates 28.252°N 99.332°E.
