Meditation means you are so conscious of whatsoever you are doing; in that very consciousness the quality of doing changes. You need not have ideals. Ideals are simply postponing the revolution, the mutation.

Just a few days before somebody was asking me, "I feel I am stupid. What can I do to become intelligent?" Now, I had to tell him that if a stupid person tries to become intelligent, he will remain stupid. At the most he will become an intellectual, but never intelligent.

That's how intellectual people are: hiding their stupidity behind words, knowledge, information. If a stupid person tries to be intelligent, how can he become intelligent? In the first place, he will be doing everything out of his stupidity; and when you do something out of your stupidity your stupidity is going to be strengthened. But he can do one thing: he can gather information, he can gather knowledge, he can start having an illusion of knowing through knowledge. That's how people become pundits, scholars, learned professors; that's how it happens, but the stupidity remains there.

In their very foundation, the stupidity goes on remaining as an undercurrent. They just have a good show on the outside; deep down they are still stupid.

Then what to do? How to get out of stupidity? The only way is, watch your stupidity. Go into its working, its mechanism. Go into how you act, go watchfully into it. See it, how it is there, how it affects your behavior. Watch it in its multidimensional reality, and in that very watching you are becoming intelligent - because watching is intelligence.

The First Church of Cannabis was approved after Indiana’s religious freedom law was passed

The First Church of Cannabis Inc. has been approved by  Indiana’s secretary of state after the state’s religious freedom legislation became law last week.

The church’s founder Bill Levin said he filed paperwork in direct response to Indiana Gov. Mike Pence’s signing the Religious Freedom Restoration Act into law last Thursday. Secretary of State Connie Lawson approved the church as a religious corporation with the stated intent “to start a church based on love and understanding with compassion for all.”

Cannibis is listed as the church’s sacrament in its doctrine, Levin said, and he will set up a church hierarchy. The church will plan to grow hemp, he said, though it will not buy or sell marijuana.

“If someone is smoking in our church, God bless them,” Levin said. “This is a church to show a proper way of life, a loving way to live life. We are called ‘cannataerians.’”

Do You Love Yourself?

Just-Love-Yourself

By Caroline Diana Bobart

Guest Writer for Wake Up World

Did you know that the quantity of love you have for yourself determines the very quality of your relationships and experiences? It is both a powerful and startling truth.

Your ability to truly be in sacred communion with yourself, your strengths, weaknesses – and the corners of your being you are reticent to explore – reflect the degree to which your current outer circumstances honour your most sacred inner self and truth.

What does that mean in everyday terms?

Being unable to love, accept and validate yourself, believe in your inborn ability to create uplifting, nurturing and loving situations with ease and live in a space of inner contentment and peace sets you up for experiences that cause repeated disappointment and heartbreak – experiences that speak to a mere shadow of the complete, capable, creative and intuitive Spirit you ARE.

Loving Ways to Deal With Toxic Behavior

Loving Ways to Deal With Toxic Behavior

Toxic behavior can zap your positive energy and leave you feeling heartbroken, stressed, angry, drained and even unwell. Knowing how to deal with toxic encounters is the key to peace of mind, good health and happiness. This involves using your heart and soul instead of your head and ego to resolve your emotional injuries.

We all live in glass houses

No one is perfect. We all make mistakes. Everyone gets hurt, and hurts others. Knowing that means we all should understand when someone says or does something that hurts us. Unfortunately the ego doesn’t agree. It’s so busy judging others it has no capacity for love. The ego insists on being right, not happy. When your ego is engaged, you play the blame game, and no one wins.

Suggestion: The key to happiness and emotional freedom is knowing how not to take things personally. Instead of trying to resolve the issue with your brain and its companion the ego, try seeing through the eyes of your soul. This higher perspective will help to reframe the situation in a loving, compassionate light.

Disrupting the Disrupters: The Art of Self-Insurgency

Gary ‘Z’ McGee, Staff Writer
Waking Times

“The revolution begins at home. If you overthrow yourself again and again, you might earn the right to overthrow the rest of us.” –Rob Brezsny

The first step to disrupting the disrupters is to accept that you yourself are a disrupter. You were born into a disruptive culture that is extremely unhealthy in the way it disrupts all order of things. It’s not your fault that you were born into this preconditioned state, mind you, but it is your responsibility to recondition this preconditioned state, lest you remain a victim/pawn/lamb/cog in a vicious dog-eat-dog system of poor human governance. Reconditioning the precondition is no easy feat. It requires Promethean courage and Herculean strength. It requires trickster audacity and Dionysian tenacity. It requires Apollonian purpose and Nietzschean creativity. In short: it requires the ability to overthrow yourself again and again so that your power doesn’t become corrupt, all while defying an absolute power that is corrupting absolutely all around you. What follows is a three-step process of revitalization that has the potential to disrupt your own disruption and thus recondition your preconditioning despite the disruptive powers that be.

6 Questions To Ask Yourself As You Experience An Awakening

Awakening is a process that some would say that never really ends.  It’s more a journey than it is a destination.  If we live in an infinite universe, the process of fully awakening to all of it would be an infinite process.  So it is likely that there are no fully “awakened” souls, but rather those who are in the process of awakening.

Until all of life’s lessons have been learned, awakening can be spoken of as an ongoing process.  Chances are, if you are reading this article then you are on your way down this path.  Here are 6 questions to ask yourself and reflect on.  Some may speak to you and your experience, and others may not.  But the important part is to keep striving for higher consciousness, and to be willing to fall short sometimes in order to learn how to improve.

You Imagine A Whole World Around Yourself

(source)

"I believe that you do not only sleep at night, but also at daytime. I believe that in your present state of consciousness your greatest illusion is that you think that you are awake. What I see is that in your present state of consciousness you are asleep, and at present you are dreaming, and what you see and hear are all parts of your dream.

Your nighttime sleep is only different from your daytime sleep in that in the night your dreams are less active. During the day you imagine a whole world around you, and you play an active role in that dream. Your personal history takes place in that world, and identifying with that world shapes your personal identity.

At present you are dreaming that, as a part of your personal history, you are reading these lines while you identify with the role of the spiritual Seeker, and you are outraged by what you are actually reading.

Rise

Rise-Up-poster

By Zen Gardner
Contributing Writer for Wake Up World

It is time for humanity to rise up.

If I see another “petition” asking for the selected “powers that shouldn’t be” to do this or that I’m gonna spit nails. It’s ridiculous. The very positioning of the populace into a place of “petitioning” others to get things done only reinforces the matrix of control and deceit.

The answer is to rise up.

This is done individually most of all, and collectively as a result...

The Destructive Art of Overthinking

Credit: Damianmarksmyth.com

By Wes Annac, The Culture of Awareness

Overthinking is the best way to make ourselves miserable, and in my opinion, one of the most important aspects of our spiritual evolution is learning to decrease the mind-driven pressure we tend to put on ourselves and just exist, free of any stresses, worries or concerns.

Negativity is inevitable, and whether it’s from outside or within, we’ll always have to deal with it as long as we’re on this planet. We can choose how to handle it, however, and instead of feeding it or letting it bring us down, we can recognize that despite how real it seems, it’s always been an illusion.

As we’re learning, true reality is found when we transcend the rigid, overactive mind and find a place of peace and inner silence. We won’t find true reality by searching for it, externally or in the mind, and in my experience, the best way to find it is to stay active and progressive yet calm and silent within.

Throughout our attempts to stay active, we might find that our own mind makes us unhappy. Thought after thought tends to pour in regardless of our mood or our emotional state, and if we’re in a negative frame of mind, our thoughts will reflect that negativity and we’ll make ourselves miserable.

Top Doctor Exposes Monsanto As The Cause Of A Huge Autism Spike!

Source: www.trueactivist.com | Original Post Date: January 9, 2015 –

MIT Doctor Stephanie Seneff, one of America’s top scientists, has exposed a direct correlation between Monsanto, autism, and many other relatively new health conditions, such as gluten intolerance.

In 1970, autism was extremely rare: just one child in every 10,000 had the condition under normal environmental circumstances. Last year this had risen to an estimated 1 in 68, which is a sharp rise that needs to be accounted for. Seneff looked at autism rates in the first grade of the school system and found a direct correlation between the condition and the increased spraying of American crops with Monsanto’s Roundup Ready, a toxic chemical called glyphosate.
