Know Yourself as Happiness

You may love solitude because, with just you and Me, you have a break. With Me, you don’t have to talk. When you and I talk together, you know what you mean to say and become clearer. We just are. We speak in Oneness. You may love just to be, just to be One with Me, which is to say, One with your Self. It is simplicity itself, Our being together and out of the parade that passes by that you don’t always want to march in. With Me, you are in My Light, yet you are, so to speak, away from the betting tables.

There are some of My children who love the stimulus of the world, and they love to roam in it. They drink in every flavor of life in the world, and they excel in it all. They may be riotous in it. And, of course, there are many betwixts and betweens.

I say to enjoy all directions. Enjoy being quiet when you love quiet. Enjoy being the life of the party when you enjoy being the life of the party. You know what? Simply enjoy, and don’t bother yourself with self-itemization. Just be what you are at the moment you are. Let go of before and after. Enjoy the moments with Me, and enter into all the other moments when you think of Me and when you don’t, and enjoy them as well. Enjoy the plateaus and enjoy the wild rides. Enjoy whatever you enjoy, and be glad.

Enjoy being good to one another. Everyone knows what this means. Hearten one another with the life of your spirit. Be happy, and the world is a happy place.

To become conscious is to get out of the prison. All that is needed is to become more and more conscious. More knowledge is not needed, more consciousness is needed. You already have too much knowledge, you are burdened with it.

The load is heavy, you cannot move because of this. You have to unburden yourself, and you have to start finding the real and dropping the unreal.

Always search for the real and don't be deceived by the society. And of course people will be angry with you because the moment you become conscious you are no longer under their control. They want you to be obedient, they want you to be disciplined - disciplined according to them, obedient to them. And they go on talking as if there would be chaos if people stopped obeying. And they go on saying that if people stop being disciplined then the society will be shattered.

That is not true. The society is shattered, it is a chaos, it is already a chaos. What more chaos can there be? You are living in a chaotic society, in a neurotic society. It is already hell.

6 Reasons To Let Go Of Things That Don’t Make You Happy

Every now and then I have to push the pause button on life and took a good, hard look at my life and what surrounds me. I think about my belongings, the place I live, the friends in my life, the work that I do, the possessions that I own, and I fully consider what it is that makes me a happy person. This is what I’ve been able to find for myself, and you might be able to find some wisdom in it too. These are my 6 reasons to let go of things in your life that don’t make you happy.

1. You’ll be healthier for it.

Possessions are often the biggest anchor for my spirit. Emotionally, I find myself completely derailed when my life is choked with a bunch of crap I don’t want and I don’t need. When I take the time to cleanse my life of things that aren’t making me happy, I feel emboldened to take things on like my health. It’s not just physical health, but mental health too.

Living the Tribal Life: 6 Far-Out Experiences from Tribal Alliance Gathering

Tribal Life

]]>

I recently had the pleasure of attending a retreat on an organic farm in the jungles of Costa Rica called Tribal Alliance. The event brought together more than 80 of the most conscious individuals I have ever come across in a 5-day experience – an experience filled with workshops, a sweat lodge, kambo ceremonies and more ecological beauty than one can imagine.

True to its name, the gathering felt like how you would imagine tribal life to be. It was a visceral reminder of what life can be like living in a tight-knit community of people who share your values.

Here are my 6 most memorable experiences from the retreat...

Emotional Healing: How to Develop an Unshakable Sense of Deep Self-Worth

HJ: A deep feeling of self-worth is one of the primary keys to a happy, healthy, successful and deeply fulfilled life.  In this great article Nanice shares many insights about how we fall into the trap of believing we don’t have a high self worth and how to ultimately pull ourselves out and accelerate our spiritual growth and evolution by understanding that we are instrinsicly worthy of all the abundance, happiness, love and joy we can handle.

Leonard Nimoy, Spock of ‘Star Trek,’ Dies at 83

Leonard Nimoy, the sonorous, gaunt-faced actor who won a worshipful global following as Mr. Spock, the resolutely logical human-alien first officer of the Starship Enterprise in the television and movie juggernaut “Star Trek,” died on Friday morning at his home in the Bel Air section of Los Angeles. He was 83.

His wife, Susan Bay Nimoy, confirmed his death, saying the cause was end-stage chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.

Mr. Nimoy announced that he had the disease last year, attributing it to years of smoking, a habit he had given up three decades earlier. He had been hospitalized earlier in the week.

His artistic pursuits — poetry, photography and music in addition to acting — ranged far beyond the United Federation of Planets, but it was as Mr. Spock that Mr. Nimoy became a folk hero, bringing to life one of the most indelible characters of the last half century: a cerebral, unflappable, pointy-eared Vulcan with a signature salute and blessing: “Live long and prosper” (from the Vulcan “Dif-tor heh smusma”).

The Man Who Single Handedly Converted A Washed Out Land Into A 1,360 Acre Forest

Almost three decades ago, a teenager, after noticing the deaths of a large number of reptiles due to a lack of a tree cover, started planting Bamboo in an area that had been washed away by floods. Today, that same land hosts 1,360 acres of Jungle called Molai Forest, named after Jadav “Molai” Payeng, the man who made this possible single handedly!

That forest is now home to Bengal tigers, Indian rhinoceros, over 100 deer and rabbits besides apes and several varieties of birds, including a large number of vultures. There are several thousand trees. Bamboo covers an area of over 300 hectares. A herd of around 100 elephants regularly visits the forest every year and generally stays for around six months. They have given birth to 10 calves in the forest in recent years. (Source)

“The education system should be like this, every kid should be asked to plant two trees,” Payeng says.

He was 16 when the flood hit Assam, and Payeng observed that the flow of migratory birds was gradually declining to the forest areas and wetlands near his home and snakes were disappearing in large numbers. This disturbed him.

Astronomers find newborn stars at the edge of the Milky Way galaxy

A team of Brazilian astronomers led by Denilso Camargo of the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul have made a remarkable discovery, a cluster of stars forming on the very edge of the Milky Way galaxy. This is the first time astronomers have found stars being born in such a remote location.

Our galaxy has a barred spiral shape, with arms of stars, gas and dust winding out from a central bar. Viewed from the side, it would appear relatively flat, witm most of the material in a disc and the central regions.

Stars form inside massive and dense clumps of gas in so-called giant molecular clouds (GMCs) that are mainly located in the inner part of the galactic disc. With many clumps in a single GMC, most (if not all) stars are born together in clusters.

Denilso’s team looked at data from NASA’s orbiting Wide-Field Infrared Survey Explorer (WISE) observatory. They not only found GMCs thousands of light years above and below the galactic disc, but that one of them unexpectedly contained two clusters of stars.
