If you are stuck, we will give you some suggestions. Love is always an option. Gratitude is always an option. Both of those choices shift you out of your mind and into your heart.
If all you did was choose those two elements consistently you would lighten not only your present moment but also what you will align with for your future moments. It is a question of intention. You can smile with an intention to offend, then smiling becomes a sin. Anything can become a sin if deep down the desire is to do violence. And anything can become virtue if deep down there is a desire to create more joy in life, more laughter in life.
My own understanding is that there is nothing more valuable than laughter. Laughter brings you closest to prayer. In fact only laughter is left in you when you are total. In everything else you remain partial, even in lovemaking you remain partial. But when you have a really heartfelt belly laugh, all the parts of your being -- the physiological, the psychological, the spiritual -- they all vibrate in one single tune, they all vibrate in harmony.
Hence, laughter relaxes. And relaxation is spiritual. Laughter brings you to the earth, brings you down from your stupid ideas of being holier-than-thou. Laughter brings you to reality as it is. The world is a play of God, a cosmic joke. And unless you understand it as a cosmic joke you will never be able to understand the ultimate mystery.

My darling child, when you begin changing on the inside, the outside will begin to change as well. It may feel as if the world is coming down around your ears, that you are losing every ‘touchstone’ that ever mattered to you and you may want to blame everything and everyone. What is really going on? The Universe is assisting you in creating something amazing, new and splendid! Yes, there will be bumps in the road and it may not be an easy process but, once you begin the path becomes easier to walk and it will become lighter and brighter. Dear Ones, the more you release the need for labels, the more freedom you have. The moment you label something, you put constraints and restrictions upon it. Many times, in fact, it immediately stunts its growth.
Labels feed expectations and limit growth. They are often are created because you are trying to control something or to force it to behave in a certain way. Much like a fish will not outgrow its tank, the moment you put your creations in a box they can only become as big as their container.
The greatest gift you can give yourself and the things that matter to you is the freedom to self express and the room to grow into their grandest expressions of self. You sell yourselves so short when you start to restrain things in your desire to have safety and predictability, for the moment something stops growing is the moment it loses its purpose. There is so much more available to you than what you realize!
Allow your relationships to grow and evolve. By giving them the space to unfold, you support them in blooming into their highest potential. What labels do you have for yourself? Can you loosen them up or become broader in your own expectations of self? Can you allow your service to continue to evolve? Can you become friends with the flow and let it continue to surprise and delight you?
It is only for a very few sensitive souls to find a sage as a master, because the mediocre follow the saint. Only very very intelligent people attune themselves to a sage, because the sage has no character and he cannot fulfill any of your expectations. He is bound to offend you, he is bound to disappoint you, he is bound to shake you and shatter you in many many ways.
Slowly slowly, he will make you as free as he himself is.

What does it take to become a whole person? The Universe has an infinite number of answers and each of them depends on what you feel you are, what you need and who you want to become. In your current society, you have been taught that becoming whole means reaching out to another to receive what you feel is missing. In fact, it is the exact opposite.
My dearest child, rather than looking outside yourself, you must go within. Those complexities are known only to you! Asking others to fill something for you is like being a contestant on a game show. They will always be venturing a guess. Yes, they may get it right on occasion but, they will never have all the answers. Giving to yourself may be perceived as selfish when, in fact, it is the greatest act of self-care in which you will ever indulge. Working on and moving toward becoming whole is your responsibility and a gift that is one of the most important things you will ever accomplish. ~ Creator
If a child makes a mistake because they didn’t know any better, you are quick to forgive. You explain there are different options and why they might want to make a different choice in the future. You understand there was innocence under the choice and see it as an opportunity for growth and expansion.
When did you lose that compassion and understanding for yourself? When did you lose that compassion and understanding for others? Can you lovingly redirect yourself without the need for shaming or berating yourself? Can you offer that same grace to others?
It is highly unlikely you will make perfect choices 100% of the time just because you have reached adulthood. You are still growing and evolving and will continue to until the end of your days. You will learn your preferences by trying many things and discovering through experience what best matches you and your truth.
Your growth involves redirecting again and again, evolving one empowered choice at a time. You are exploring your mastery, which will involve aspects of what it is and what it isn’t. This is all part of being in the realm of experience, and to be expected as part of your evolution. The most important responsibility is not to the nation or to the church or to anybody else. The real responsibility is to yourself. And it is that you have to live your life according to your own light and you have to move wherever life leads, without any compromise.
The man of character compromises. His character is nothing but an effort to guarantee the society, "I am not dangerous," and to declare to the society, "I will follow the rules of the game, I am utterly at your disposal."
The saint has character, hence he is respected. The sage has no character, hence it is very difficult to recognize him. Socrates is a sage, Jesus is a sage, Lao Tzu is a sage but they are very difficult to recognize, almost impossible, because they don't leave any trace behind them. They don't fit into any mold, they are pure freedom. They are like birds flying in the sky, they don't leave any footprints.
