Hello again from the Sacred Grove,

I have been asked to share some of my knowledge about trees with you each week from what I have learned in my training as a Druid Priestess. As a Druid Priestess, I have been trained in many things including how to be strong, a steadfast seer, and a knower of magic and enchantment. I am a sage of the forest as I have lived alone for 9 years whilst I studied magic with the native trees and fauna as my only friends. In that time I learnt the secret of the oak and the wildwood. Of the birds and our unique native habitat.

We write to remember. Perhaps that’s why I never kept a journal, why I never wrote things down. I didn’t want to remember. It’s why, as I sit down to write this book, which has been gnawing at every gnawable part of me, I am berating myself for not remembering the details.

Police used vigorous tactics including the "kettling" of crowds for hours in freezing conditions in the four successive marches during November and December 2010.

British students are once again expected to join mass protests not seen in two years after their voices against tuition fees hikes were silenced with harsh police tactics including “kettling” in freezing conditions in 2010.

The National Union of Students (NUS) has organized a new wave of protests entitled “Demo 2012” to highlight not only tuition fees and the loss of the educational maintenance allowance (EMA), but the dire employment prospects faced by many young people once they graduate.

Protesting Spanish Cops: "Forgive Us For Not Arresting Those Truly Responsible For This Crisis: Bankers & Politicians"

Yesterday, in what is an appetizer to the great 2013 convergence trade (that, between the now thoroughly dead Greek and the Spanish economy, which is rapidly getting there, of course), several thousand Spanish policemen took the streets of Madrid protesting the latest round of austerity, which included frozen pensions and the elimination of the Christmas bonus (they will have many more opportunities to protest not only the loss of any future upside, but the eventual cut of existing wages and entitlements). As RT reports, protesters blew whistles, shouted slogans, and carried anti-austerity banners as they marched through the city centre to the interior ministry. But perhaps the most telling message read on one of the slogans, was the following: "Citizens! Forgive us for not arresting those truly responsible for this crisis: bankers and politicians."

Take action against GE salmon - Tell the FDA to ban it now!

salmon

(NaturalNews) It has been more than two years since the biotechnology company AquAdvantage first petitioned the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) to approve its genetically-engineered (GE) salmon AquaBounty for human consumption, and the agency still has not given the "Frankenfish" the green light, thanks in large part to continued public pressure against its approval.

But now that nearly 50 percent of AquAdvantage has been purchased by another biotechnology company with strong ties to Monsanto, it is clear that revived industry pressures will be pushing more strongly than ever to get this GE salmon approved, which means the public needs to step up its game now to demand that the FDA immediately ban this dangerous fish from the food supply.

You can access and sign a petition calling on the FDA to ban GE salmon here:
