ASX stocks

A key executive of one of Australia’s largest retail stock brokers has blown the lid on what he calls the “market rigging” which is taking place on the Australian stock exchanges. He was commenting on my article (Getting the jump on high-frequency trading, July 18).

Bell Potter’s managing director for its wholesale division, Charlie Aitken believes that the “market riggers” – the so-called high-frequency traders – are causing the community to lose faith in Australian and world stock markets.

(NaturalNews) Dallas County, Texas, and several nearby towns and cities in the Dallas area are currently being forcibly sprayed with toxic insecticides as part of a government effort to supposedly eradicate mosquitoes that may be carriers of West Nile virus (WNv). The mass sprayings, which are ramping up all across the country, involve blanketing entire areas with chemicals sprayed via airplanes, a highly controversial protocol that threatens not only all other insects and animals exposed, but also humans.

According to the City of Dallas, more than 380 state-confirmed cases of WNv have been reported throughout Texas this year, and at least 16 people in the Lone Star State have died in conjunction with the virus. The specifics of these cases and deaths have not been publicly released, but authorities insist that the situation is serious enough to warrant a series of at least three conjunctive aerial sprayings throughout Dallas County, including in Highland Park and University Park.

Jordan Seiler loathes outdoor advertising.

Advertising in London's Piccadilly Circus Campaigners say advertising is exploiting public spaces which many people would like to be free from commercial influence

"If you live in a city, your right to the public space and how it is used is an innate feature of your habitation of that environment," says Mr Seiler, an activist with the PublicAdCampaign.

Many agree, he says.

Allan Shipman was found guilty of illegally dumping millions of gallons of natural gas drilling wastewater. But he's part of a much bigger problem.

Ken Dufalla sits at a table inside Laverne’s Restaurant on Route 188 in Waynesburg, PA. The former park ranger, 65, is sporting a camouflaged trucker’s hat and enjoying Laverne’s cream of chicken and biscuits with mashed potatoes. It’s midmorning, between the breakfast crowd and the lunch patrons. Waiters and waitresses are attentive and the coffee is flowing.

fore long, Dufalla is joined by a former Marine and Vietnam veteran, 67-year-old Ken Gayman, who dons a black and gold USMC ball cap. The two former Beth-Center High School wrestling practice combatants sprinkle the conversation with passages from the Constitution and speak about defending land and property. The two men are members of an association, but it’s not the Tea Party.

via U.S. Air Force

The military suicide rate doubled in July. That's one of our troops, almost every day.

To come up with an answer, the Army recently gave 3 million dollars to a university of Indiana research center, and those researchers came back with this: Anti-Suicide Nasal Spray.

(NaturalNews) If you have ever done any sort of comparison shopping online, chances are you have probably used Google's Shopping portal to pull up product information and compare prices. But if you live in the U.S. and try to use Google Shopping to buy vitamins, supplements, personal care products, and even many health foods, your search queries will now turn up blank, as Google has apparentlyblocked access to all vitamins and natural products for American customers.

HJ: With major portal dates on the horizon, now is a better time than ever to cut those habits and people from our lives which no longer serve our highest good. This can be a difficult task as there are often addiction and co-dependency issues at play. However, these types of relationships with food or people are highly destructive and keep us trapped in lower vibrational patterns, hindering our spiritual advancement. Speaking from experience, you will feel infinitely lighter and happier once these patterns are broken. – Truth

Aljazeera – Assagne Thanks Ecuador In Embassy Speech – 19 August 2012

WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange has appeared in public for the first time since he took refuge inside Ecuador’s embassy in London two months ago, addressing supporters from a balcony.

Assange, who sought shelter inside the nation’s mission on June 19, was on Thursday granted asylum by Ecuador as he seeks to avoid extradition to Sweden, where he is wanted for questioning over sexual misconduct allegations.

Speaking on Sunday, Assange thanked Ecuadorean President Rafael Correa for the “courage he has shown,” in granting him asylum.

Britain cannot detain Assange while he remains inside the embassy, but will not offer him safe passage to Ecuador.

Assange also called for the US to “renounced its witch hunt against WikiLeaks” and called for the release of Bradley Manning, a US soldier who is awaiting trial after being charged with aiding the enemy by passing secret files to WikiLeaks.
