Are you feeling blue? Are you feeling down? Then this is the time to look up. Look up at the blue sky. Look for Me, and you will find Me. You can find Me in the next pair of eyes you look into. You can find Me anywhere and everywhere. Start with the sky and look up. Look Heavenward, and you will begin to feel chipper. Even the idea of looking up will nourish your waning heart. What is feeling blue but looking down? Of course, look up. Look high. Look at something worthwhile to look at.

Every time you make an error, congratulate yourself, for you are seeing progress in the making. Chalk one up for yourself. This is wonderful news. Your perception has already changed. It has changed right before your eyes. You have wanted to grow. Oh, how you have wanted to grow. And now you see your growth in accelerated photographs. Splendid. You learned something. You are really charging ahead.

The Garden of Eden is a metaphor, as all words are metaphors, as everything on Earth is a metaphor. Metaphors hold Truth, and there are great metaphors that hold Great Truth. And you are a metaphor, and you are a great holder of Truth.

That's it! You are a human metaphor. Metaphors in poetry say that two seemingly dissimilar things are alike. Metaphors speak of opposites. And yet there is also likeness. And equality. There is something true. The Truth is that all the people in the world are One. No matter how unique, no matter how opposite, everyone is One, One with you, and One with Me. Oneness, Oneness, Oneness. The Truth of Life is Oneness.

Superlatives are not actually so. When you say something is the best or the most wonderful, you are expressing your joy in whatever it may be and, yet, what you express is not a fact. Not a fact even for you.

Today you may have a fabulous meal, and you say: "This is the best food I've ever had." You are expressing the truth of your emotion at the moment. Another time, you probably will say that again. Probably you already have - several times!

If you travel around this beautiful world, you may have said more than once: "This is the most beautiful place in the world." And then there is another most beautiful place, and another, and another.

I am talking about Infinity, beloveds. There is always more and more.

You have heard that life is not about you at the same time that life is all about you. Everything is as you think it is. You are all-important. And yet you are to serve. In that sense, life is not about you.

Life is a reflection of you, and yet life is not about you. It is about service. It is about love. It is not about love to you. It is about love from you.

You can only respond or venture in life according to how you perceive.

Be of good cheer is My main message for you today. Such a simple thing, it hardly seems necessary to mention. Why wouldn't someone be of good cheer on a sunny day like this - or a rainy day like this? Grumpiness arises regardless of the weather. The weather is not responsible for your frame of mind. You are.

Grumpy days will descend uninvited. When they descend, let go of them. Instead of being grumpy, why not enjoy yourself? Even grumpiness doesn't have to deter

Be grateful to yourself. Give yourself a well-earned pat on your back. What did you do today that you can be glad about, or grateful to yourself for? Instead of picking on yourself, chalk one up for you.

Do this often. Then you won't need so much input from those around you.

Whom did you smile at today? Whom did you give a kindness to? What doors did you hold open for others? Whom did you give a minute to? Whose eyes did you look straight into? To whom did you say, "Thank you?” Whom did you greet today? Whom did you cross the street to say hello to?

These may seem like small acts, yet they mean a lot, and you can like yourself for them.

Bless someone today, and bless yourself.

Above all, get out of the habit of pointing out inadequacies, yours or others. Whatever you think about another, you compound. Whatever you think about yourself, you compound. If you have generally seen yourself as inept, start thinking about the wondrousness of you. The same for the people around you.

Be grateful for what you have. Gratitude is a great tool in life. It carries you far. Ingratitude drops you right where you are. Kerplunk.

Complaining keeps you mired in what you complain about. Furthermore, complaining brings you more to complain about. Complaining is ingratitude. Ingratitude is a lack of gratitude. You may have just escaped an auto accident, let's say, and, instead of appreciating, you may be irate that I let you come close and you may further be sore about your flat tire, and even hold Me responsible for it. You do have some say in your life, you know. In any case, whatever occurs in your life that you think I inflicted on you, think again. That is so off-track for you. Sometimes I have the impression that you are smug about what I am supposed to be doing in your life! You really do want to tell Me what to do!

When you want to show love, you may want to show it one way while the one you want to give love to wants to receive love in another way.

Some people make it easy for you to know what they would most like, and some don't. Some might like cash for a gift, for instance, and some never. Some might like cut flowers, and others like a potted plant. Some may like gifts more than anything. Some may care about another form of love much more. The combinations are countless.

It is not that you are to reinvent yourself to suit another person. Nevertheless, what means most to another? This is how it is with love and those you love.

What prevents you from having peace in your heart?

One way to look at this is that uncertainty prevents you. Here's the thing. Turmoil in your heart doesn't change uncertainty one whit. Perhaps it cultivates it.

If you can have either peace in your heart or anxiety, which would you choose?

Have peace even with uncertainty. Change comes with the territory, beloveds. Alive on Earth does not mean certainty. Uncertainty is a given in human life. Uncertainty is certain. That's how it is.

Be uncertain about turmoil then. Don't compound uncertainty.
