Neil Young, Pope Francis and 100,000 Beekeepers Take a Stand Against Toxic Agriculture

By Dr. Joseph Mercola
Guest Writer for Wake Up World

What do Neil Young, Pope Francis, and German beekeepers have in common? They’re all speaking out against genetically engineered crops and the excessive use of toxic pesticides.

Meanwhile, the chemical technology industry is feverishly trying to revamp its image by renaming itself and putting out new spins on words, to disguise what they’re really all about.

The sad fact is, the chemical industry has to a large degree taken over the food industry, not to mention hijacked the federal regulatory process. In essence, most of the population is being fed by poison experts. The Grocery Manufacturers Association (GMA), which has (by its own admission) been instrumental in keeping Americans in the dark about what’s in our food, also admits it has played an integral role in shaping the draconian “DARK Act” — ‘Denying Americans the Right to Know’ — which delivers Monsanto everything they’ve ever wanted on a silver platter while obliterating the democratic process.

Science Finally Breaking Through the Materialist Paradigm

Spark Light BulbPhil Watt, Guest
Waking Times

Quantum physics illustrates that the classical, manifested world is not what it seems, yet the daily routine of waking up as an individual human being who is separated from the rest of the external world is our ordinary experience. However, every now and again, sometimes with a profound and ongoing impact in our life, we experience extraordinary feats of consciousness which blow our minds and hearts out of this world.

These feats occur in many different guises and in a very personal way. Some believe it to genuinely be an extraordinary experience; whilst others explain it away as ‘coincidence’ or a ‘figment of the imagination’. Yet unsurprisingly, a high amount of people do believe in Extrasensory Perception (ESP). In a 2002 poll, 57% believe it to be real.

Regardless of our personal beliefs, these occurrences have been recorded throughout the history of all tribal and traditional civilizations, so it’s not just a modern marvel. What is fresh about this phenomenon is the development of a discipline called ‘Parapsychology’, which is essentially a scientific framework designed to study the ‘psi’ or ‘psychic’ experiences of humanity.

Your Light

Within you is a spark, a piece of the Divine placed there before your arrival to aid you in your journey on your Earth-plane existence.  As you travel, there will be others that attempt to douse, shove it aside or smother it with unkind words or actions.  It is up to you whether you allow this or not.  Remember that any amount of love, large or small, will keep it shining brightly. ~ Creator

Daily Message ~ Monday July 20, 2015

Many of you, as you navigate the shifting energies, bemoan the fact that you have become so sensitive. That sensitivity is a wonderful thing!

The more aware you are, the less contrast is required for self definition and redirection. Those who are still asleep and deeply unaware often require big events to get their attention. The beauty of your heightened sensitivity and awareness is that you begin to notice subtle energy and can choose to redefine and redirect far faster and easier than ever before.

Do you see? The continual shifting you are doing and the resulting heightened sensitivity is not about making you more uncomfortable in the world. It is actually designed for greater comfort, for you to embrace a less chaotic path, and to move with far greater acceptance and willingness than ever before. ~Archangel Gabriel

Day 61: The Nature of Cycles

THE NATURE OF CYCLES  It is important to pay attention to endings of cycles, no matter how trivial they seem. Paying attention to what is happening in the moment will allow you to find satisfaction and joy in all things. Many start tasks with the goal of completing them, yet no joy is found along the way.

When you come to the end of the journey, there is just a hurried sense of getting on with the next project. Nature has no deadlines, yet all is done on time. The seeds know when to sprout. The leaves know when to fall. The birds know when to migrate. The bears know when to hibernate. You can learn much from Nature through observation. Take time to quiet your outer world and go within.

Ego Is Primed to Fight

God said:

Your basic heart is pure. Then interference accrues. Static takes over. The individual, the seeming owner of the body, starts to feel frail and unprotected. This is you. Admit this.

Then the entity known as ego steps in as your defender, and you become resistant to love. You embrace the fear of being offended. You are en garde. You are ready to duel at the drop of a hat. No one is going to take advantage of you. No one is going to get the better of you. Ego won’t let that happen. At these times, ego rules the roost. It is like you are the King or Queen, and others must be prepared to kiss your feet, or else, you deign in heart: “Off with their heads.”

You hold on to believing that you are in the right and that you must fight to prove it. You become self-righteous when you are, in fact, defeating yourself. This is what is meant by shooting yourself in the foot. This is what is meant by sabotaging yourself. This is what is meant by cutting off your foot to fit the shoe. This is nailing your foot to the floor. This is trying to hold life in place, and, you, right or wrong, in the forefront, a supreme being who can do no wrong and must defend himself to the end. This has been your practice on more than one occasion. Yes, dear ones, you may feel another is slandering you, yet it is you slandering your True Self.

How to Develop Unconditional Self-Confidence

HJ: Developing self-confidence is not so much about force as it as about clearing away all of that which stands in the way of you experiencing your true self.  Because your true self is pure love—is divine—and wherever pure love and the divine exist, there is never a lack of confidence.  There is simply awareness of the greatness from which you emerge and that is you.

Breakups, Backaches, The Beatles, Buddha and the Brain

By Paul Brundtland
Guest Writer for Wake Up World

Guess what The Beatles, Buddha and the brain have in common? Here are some clues:

It really worked for the Beatles, making them even more successful than before… Buddha said if you want to find peace in meditation, you should do this with any thought that comes into mind… You can reprogram your brain if you do this when an unwanted or unpleasant emotion or sensation comes up…

The answer to all 3… Let it be!

Are you obsessing over something you know is just a waste of your valuable time? Does your back seem to act up whenever you do something that most people can do easily, and neither doctors nor therapists can help? Are you having trouble getting over a break-up that you know had to happen? All of these conditions can be helped by applying that little phrase mentioned above. In this article I’ll describe why and how we should let uncomfortable emotions “be” if we wish to be rid of them.

How to Stop Lying to Yourself and Others

“Lies are a little fortress; inside them you can feel safe and powerful. Through your little fortress of lies you try to run your life and manipulate others. But the fortress needs walls, so you build some. These are the justifications for your lies. You know, like you are doing this to protect someone you love, to keep them from feeling pain. Whatever works, just so you feel okay about the lies.” ~William Paul Young

Many of us have learned to wear a fake psychological mask to show others that we are something that we actually are not, lying about ourselves and doing our best to convince others of our false persona. This, however, causes tremendous pain and suffering to us, because constant lying is only helping us to feel stressed from constantly suppressing ourselves, which prevents us from living a life of peace and tranquility.

I am trying to make people aware that the change, the real change, comes from within and spreads outwards. But they are afraid that I may create a chaos.

A surgeon, an architect, and a politician were arguing about which of their professions was the oldest.

"Mine is, " said the surgeon. "It began when God removed Adam's rib to make Eve."

"My profession is older," said the architect. "It began when God created the world out of chaos."

"Yes, " said the politician, "but who created the chaos?"

Scientific Studies Show Nature Can Boost Your Energy, Happiness, Creativity, Memory, and Self-Esteem

“All those who love Nature she loves in return, and will richly reward, not perhaps with the good things, as they are commonly called, but with the best things of this world-not with money and titles, horses and carriages, but with bright and happy thoughts, contentment and peace of mind.” ~John Lubbock

Nature can be a powerful healing force for all of us, only if we realize it and harness it for our own benefit. According to recent scientific studies, spending time in nature can help boost our energy, happiness, creativity, memory and even self-esteem. Unfortunately, most people in the Western world spend most of their time sitting inside a building, and they rarely go in the countryside to enjoy nature and receive all of the amazing physical and psychological benefits it has to offer.

Here are some recent research findings from scientific studies that prove the healthy benefits spending time in nature can have to your mind:

Nature can increase your energy and happiness

“Experience” and Transcending the Conditioned Mind

Credit: integralactive.caseycapshaw.com

By Wes Annac, Culture of Awareness

Here, I’d like to examine some material from Jiddu Krishnamurti about experience and transcending the mind’s conditioning, which has kept all of us from connecting with our essence at one point or another. As he’ll tell us here, external experience is one of many things that reinforces our sense of separation from our higher consciousness, and we have to do away with our attachment to it if we want to leave the realm of the mind.

We don’t have to be ruled by the desire to gain experiences, and the conditioned mind seems to require certain experiences before it can find temporary peace. It’s never really at peace, but it’s peaceful for a moment when we have fun or enjoyable experiences.

Depending on what we’re doing, the mind doesn’t seem very active when we enjoy ourselves. In that moment, we aren’t being conditioned to want or need something before we can be happy, because we’re already having fun. The moment our enjoyment is taken away, the mind will go right back to needing things or experiences to be happy.
