Enlightened Beings ~ Relax…You Have Already Arrived

Silver's picture

By: Jafree Ozwald, 09/04/2013

Most people have spent lifetimes seeking, yearning, and hoping for that special “something or someone” to show up before they can relax and be truly happy. There is always that bigger and better something or someone showing up someday, so the desiring machine inside you never becomes satisfied. It is only knows three things…wanting, wanting, and more wanting. If you’ve become wrapped up in a constant state of desiring that better relationship, that bigger bank account, that skinnier body in the future (or whatever the mind is addicted to), you might want to see what you’re really experiencing on the inside and actually manifesting on the outside.

“Outwardness of the mind is suffering…inwardness is happiness.” ~Ramana

Michigan Tar Sands Pipeline Protester Could Get Two Years in Jail

One oil spill in his community was more than enough for Kalamazoo resident Christopher Wahmhoff. To protest Enbridge’s replacement of the pipeline that burst along a Michigan riverbank in 2010, Wahmhoff spent 10 hours of his 35th birthday inside the new pipe, slowing construction for a single day in June.

Now Wahmhoff, a member of the Michigan Coalition Against Tar Sands [aka MI-CATS], has been charged with two felonies and a misdemeanor, charges that could see him put behind bars for more than two years. “It was worth it, without a doubt,” he told the Battle Creek Enquirer on Tuesday following a preliminary hearing before a district judge. “We got awareness out.”

coconut oil decanter3 263x164 Single Serving of Coconut Oil can Boost Brain Health, Reverse Alzheimers

Perhaps you already know about the numerous health benefits of coconut oil, but were you aware that in as little as one daily serving, the medium chain triglycerides (MCT) or ‘healthy’ fats in coconut oil can start to repair slow neural pathways and improve cognitive functioning and memory? This is true for people of all ages, but especially in senior adults.

The connection between coconut oil and Alzheimer’s prevention and even reversal has been made stronger than ever, as evidenced in recent studies like the one published by the journal, Neurobiology of Aging.

Stephen Lendman ~ War On Syria: Dissent In The Ranks

Silver's picture

By: Steve Lendman, 09/03/2013

On September 2, London’s Daily Mail headlined ”‘I didn’t join the Navy to fight for al Qaeda in a Syrian civil war’: Picture of serviceman goes viral… but is it real?” More on that below. The Pentagon goes all out to avoid dissent in the ranks. It surfaced in Vietnam. Until 1967, order was well maintained. After Tet in late January/February 1968, things changed. Mutinies forced the Pentagon to disguise them with language like “combat refusal.” Soldiers disobeyed orders. Most were search and destroy missions. They were put in harm’s way. They faced formidable enemies. At times, entire companies defied commanders. As fear of punishment faded, incidents mushroomed. So did fragging. It’s committed when soldiers target a superior with intent to kill. Fragmentation grenades were used. As frustration and anger grew, so did fragging incidents. They became the price for being ordered in harm’s way against enemies refusing to quit.

After Tet, 1,000 or more incidents occurred. Precise numbers aren’t known. Pentagon officials stopped counting. They downplayed what happened. They suppressed incidents best they could. Officers shot by their men were excluded. They were those listed as wounded or killed in action.

Old Man and the River: Senator's Fight for Montana Waterway

National Geographic, Douglas H. Chadwick in Montana, 09/01/2013

North Fork of Flathead River

After the better part of a mile, I heard the scrape and ping of tempered steel on stone. A trail crew from the Montana Conservation Corps was digging into the steep slope to widen a series of switchbacks. Small plumes of dust drifted from their shovels and pickaxes. I met young recruits from places like Ohio and Brooklyn. I also met a 71-year-old guy in a hard hat, jeans, and sweaty, dirt-smudged T-shirt, who was whacking away at the slope with a pickax.

That was the man I'd come for: Montana Senator Max Baucus, current chairman of the powerful Senate Finance Committee. Today was one of his periodic "work days" back home, when he joins fellow Montanans at their jobs, and he had invited a few reporters to join him on the crew's lunch break. He wanted to talk about something close to his heart: the North Fork Watershed Protection Act.

New Marijuana Ruling Shows The Age of Deception On The Most Medicinal Plant In The World Is Coming To An End

Preventdisease.com, By: Marco Torres, 09/01/2013

More than a dozen U.S. states have now completely decriminalized the act of possessing marijuana and both Colorado and Washington have made it legal to possess, sell, transport and cultivate the plant. But soon it may be legalized across the entire country following a decision Thursday by the federal government. In a historic and significant moment in American history, last November, Colorado became the first US state to legalize marijuana for recreational use. The impact of the decision could soon ripple across the entire country with vast opportunities to educate millions on the top health benefits of marijuana.

With the passage of I-502 in the 2012 Washington State election, marijuana also became legal in Washington--not just for medical use, but also for recreational use--and Alaska, California, Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, Nevada, New York, Nebraska, North Carolina, Ohio, Oregon, and Vermont have all decriminalized marijuana.

Everyone you chose to meet on your lifepath will appear at exactly the right moment

Much attention is being focused on the troubling situation in the Middle East, and this is understandable because your compassion flows to those who are suffering there. But do not forget to focus also on being Love in action all day every day, while not judging those whom you think are causing those problems, because in truth they too are suffering and are equally deserving of your love and compassion.  Only a constant flow of Love can resolve that situation, and you who are reading this chose to be incarnate on Earth at this time so that you could send your love to those who are suffering anywhere on Earth due to military conflicts, or for any other reason.
