Winter Storm Virgil is making its final stop today in the Mid-Atlantic after delivering a swath of significant snowfall from the central Rockies to the Midwest over the weekend.
The storm brought nearly a foot of snow toDenver and 15 inches of snow to Goodland, Kan. on Saturday. St. Louis picked up 12.4 inches of snow on Sunday, making it the second snowiest calendar day on record. In Illinois,Springfield saw 18.5 inches from Virgil.
