Day Zero: US-Funded Textbooks Taught Afghan Kids The ABCs of Jihad

Would you be surprised to hear that the US government was at least partly responsible for the birth of Islamic extremism as we know it today… by brainwashing Afghan children into becoming Jihadists?

While the US has influenced the Middle East since the first World War, it ramped up its intervention during the Cold War by aiding Osama Bin Laden. He led the Mujaheddin who would later become Al Qaeda (the root of modern-day extremist Islamic jihadist terrorism). Anything, it seems, was ethical as long as the Soviets were driven back.

This aid was widely believed by the informed public to have been limited to weapons and training of already-indoctrinated fully-grown extremist fighters. If only that was all the US did there though.

The Washington Post wrote an article awhile back, revealing how the US had also supplied textbooks filled with violent images and militant Jihadist teachings- featuring drawings of guns, bullets, soldiers and mines. These weren’t textbooks destined for fringe extremist madrasas  either; they were part of the Afghan core curriculum.

Dear Ones, if you are feeling overwhelmed it is so important to prioritize giving yourself exactly what you need. Take a moment to check in with yourself. What do you need? Intuitively you will know. Allow yourself to be the expert on you.

When you are feeling overwhelmed, your energetics are letting you know that they are in need of some extra support. You may be attempting to integrate new energies and require specific elements such as rest, certain foods, or activities to help with that process. You may be releasing, which will also present with requirements unique to you. Or you may simply be healing, which might require just a little extra tender care.

If you try to power through things, you make the process more difficult on yourself. Because your body is trying to move you into greater balance and you are not giving it what you need, you can be prone to emotional outbursts or actions that make you act out. This can complicate the process unnecessarily because if you become reactive you also will feel regret afterwards, throwing even more energy on the pile to be dealt with.

Making good energetic self care a priority during times of great change will ensure you shift with the energies the most effective way possible, as well as creating the space for you to show up as your highest selves, to serve and assist others, and to help anchor greater balance, peace, love, and stability on your planet. ~Archangel Gabriel

The Properties of Space

Science works best when in harmony with nature. If we put these two together, we can discover great technologies that can only come about when the consciousness of the planet is ready to embrace them. One example is “free energy,” also known as “zero-point energy,” which utilizes the substance that exists all around us and converts it into usable energy. This would give us a limitless source of energy, and would practically wipe out all poverty on the planet. (more on this later in the article)

The properties of space have been postulated by many, from ancient Vedic philosophy, Eastern Mystics, various ancient civilizations throughout human history all the way to Descartes, Einstein, Newton and more. Humans are curious beings, and our quest to discover “what is” will never end.

A Day Off from School

Every student loves a snow day, an unexpected day off from school. An unexpected day off from responsibility. What has changed? A day is a day is a day. Yet, when you get a day off, you may feel that you have won the lottery.

What has really changed is that you expect more joy now! A day in Earth terms is twenty-four hours, yet now you have a bonus. The idea of a day off lights your fire. An ordinary day has suddenly become a marvelous day.

It takes so little really for you to be happy, doesn’t it?

Somehow We want to make it so every day is a day off from strain and what others may want of you or even demand of you. You would love some days just to be! What is all this about fulfilling other people's desires and little left over for what you personally desire?

No one may have asked you what you want. You yourself may not know what you want and what makes you happy. You know a lot about what doesn't make you happy.

Here's one word that makes you happy: Opportunity.

And what does opportunity mean? It means you are free to explore, to wonder, to ponder, to find something today that rewards you for simply being you as you are and you as you desire to be.

When was the last time someone wanted to hear what you think, what you really think, and not what Copernicus or some expert far away from you thought once upon a time. You would like to know what you think.

In a recent speech, the director of the Central Intelligence Agency discussed the controversial topic of geoengineering, leading some activists to ask whether the agency is actively and deliberately modifying the weather.

In late June, John Brennan, director of the Central Intelligence Agency, spoke at a Council on Foreign Relations meeting about threats to global security. Director Brennan mentioned a number of threats to stability before discussing the science of geoengineering. Brennan said the technologies “potentially could help reverse the warming effects of global climate change.”

According to Sufi tradition, man/woman is the meeting point between heaven and earth and is created with a spiritual destiny. Within each person there is the capacity to create, make decisions and destroy. These aspects or abilities reflect Higher attributes and man/woman’s birth right is to rule a vast, personal spiritual kingdom.

You are in the throes of change, both personally and collectively. During times of profound change, it can often seem like things are getting worse. Many, many things are being brought up into your awareness for transformation. Do not lose hope, Dear Ones! The fact that things seem to be intensifying is not an indicator that things are heading in the wrong direction, rather that they can no longer be ignored in their desire to be healed. It is a sign that not only is change truly possible, it is happening.

Let us give you an example of worse before better. Think of when your body has caught a common virus. When you are first infected, you don’t realize it. That is the most dangerous time, when the virus is flooding your body undetected. Then your body moves into awareness that something is going on, and responds with a fever. You recognize extra care is required and you focus on what is needed to move back into wellness. You are actually healing the most when you are feeling the worst. Then you come out the other side of the illness with an immune system that will remember what it has healed beyond so it becomes a non-issue. You have created a new template for wellness.

Drop all your conclusions -- Hindu, Christian, Mohammedan, Jaina, Jewish. Drop all the knowledge that has been forced upon you. Every child has been poisoned -- poisoned by knowledge, poisoned by the parents, the society, the church, the state. Every child has been distracted from his innocence, from his not-knowing. And that's why every child, slowly slowly, becomes so burdened that he loses all joy of life, all ecstasy of being, and he becomes just like the crowd, part of the crowd.

In fact, the moment a child is perfectly conditioned by you, you are very happy; you call it "religious education." You are very happy that the child has been initiated into the religion of his parents. All that you have done is you have destroyed his capacity to know on his own. You have destroyed his authenticity. You have destroyed his very precious innocence. You have closed his doors and windows. Now he will live an encapsulated existence. He will live in his inner darkness, surrounded by all kinds of stupid theories, systems of thought, philosophies, ideologies. He will be lost in a jungle of words and he will not be able to come out of it easily.

This Very Moment of a New Day

Sadness is somewhat like an old bathrobe that feels oh so comfortable to you. You've had it forever, worn it again and again. It holds sentimental value. How you want to keep this old bathrobe. You like to hold on to the past, even its sadness. Sometimes, especially its sadness.

Does this old bathrobe gave meaning to your life as it spotlights sadness? You don't want to part with sadness even as you wish you didn't have it. Of course, you could live without this remnant from the past. You can live without it, yet you don't.

You haven't been quite able to pack this old relic into the attic trunk. Nope, you seem to desire to make past sadness easily available when you happen to want to bring it out for old time's sake.

Somehow you relegate tears to this old bathrobe as if the tears were valuable diamonds. This old thing has worn well in the sense that it doesn't look so raggedy that you must throw it out right away. Your eyes mist over the holes the robe is full of.

This bathrobe from the old days never was beautiful. You never quite saw it as it really was, and so you hang onto this bathrobe of sadness now as though it were special. This bathrobe is a dime a dozen. Such bathrobes hang in many closets. They hang in too many closets.

You really can move out that old bathrobe now. Don't hang it in your closet any longer. What do you think you need it for anyway? You are already an expert on sadness. Your life really comes down to more than a piece of old cloth.

Scientists Discover That Humans Have A ‘Magnetic 6th Sense’ To Detect Something We Can’t Even See

It’s called magnetoreception, and it refers to the ability to perceive magnetic fields. Several animals use it to find their way over long distances by aligning themselves with the Earth’s magnetic field. Sea turtles. honeybees, spiny lobsters, dolphins, migratory birds, and more all have a magnetic compass which allows them to use the information that’s coded into magnetic fields. We know little beyond that, however. How they use them, how they sense them, and what information they are getting from them remains up for speculation. For all we know, these magnetic fields could be used for much more than navigation for certain species.

According to Joe Kirschvink, the geophysicist at the California Institute of Technology who is currently testing humans for a magnetic sense, “it’s part of our evolutionary history. Magnetoreception  may be the primal sense.” (source)

The day you entered your body, your birthday, was chosen specifically by your soul to hold the exact astrological influences to best assist you on your journey. It is your personal power day, your day of total alignment. We highly recommend on your day of birth that you take full advantage of those energies.

Why not take a moment to still yourselves and review where you have been and where you would like to go? Take a moment to congratulate yourself on your many experiences and how much you have shifted and evolved in the past year. Reevaluate where you are. Are your interests and desires the same? What has changed? What would you like to change? What would you like to continue? What would you like to create?

Take a moment to give appreciation for all that you are and the energies you would like to accompany you for the coming year. Why not set an intention for the year? You could choose a word or a phrase to describe what you would like to be the theme. You could proclaim it to be your year of love, of healing, of creation, or anything else you can think of.

Each new year can be a new declaration of self, super charged by choosing the intention on the day that is most aligned to serve you.
