There are many different types of love. The type which you can radiate to everyone. The kind of love you have for friends. The love you have for an ex partner. The love you have for your family. The love you have for your kids. Even within all these types of love there are many different types of love you can express.

Love is not definable with just the simple word “love” as it has many different meanings. So for clarity, the type of love I am talking about in this article is love you have for a partner or someone you wish to be your partner. The all consuming feeling of being fully and deeply in love with someone or romantic love.

This type of love is a beautiful thing, but why does it happen and what happens to your brain and body when you are in love?

“Nestlé is Trying to Break Us” Town Fights to Stop Bottled Water Megacorp from Stealing their Water

Kunkeltown, PA — A small town in Pennsylvania is the latest to be targeted by Nestlé Waters North America, which, in typical fashion, is seeking to extract millions of gallons of freshwater to bottle and sell for an obscene profit — whether or not local residents approve.

Nestlé sneakily began testing waters in the Kunkeltown area as far back as 2012; but residents wouldn’t have discovered the desire for its water at all had the mega-corporation not rented an office in the community center, as Truthout reported. In fact, Nestlé’s plans comprise no small operation, as Truthout explained:

It would be mark the end of trying to control others and giving your power away by being consumed by what others are doing. How freeing would that be? Further, because everyone would be acting authentically, you would connect with people who truly share your passions and interests. There is much difference And it is beautiful because if people were really the same, both at the center and on the circumference, the world would be a very boring place. But it is not a boring place. It is immensely interesting; it is immensely beautiful, rich. And the richness comes because of variety.

God said:

You are free on Earth. It may not seem so to you. You may feel bogged down in so many matters that you are overwhelmed.

Dear Ones, you are free even to be overwhelmed. It is not a stretch to say that out of a peck of opportunities, you may well have chosen one named Overwhelmed.

There are so many choices in life before you. All of them are for you to choose from.

You even have the choice to run away from what you would love to choose. You may put your hand out, and then pull your hand back. You do not give yourself credit for the ability to achieve your desires, and so you back away, or, perhaps, it can be said that you back away from fulfilling a desire of yours out of timidity or, perhaps, from some kind of fear of success or failure. In any case, it can be that you accept less than your full quotient.

On one level, it doesn't matter. On another level, it matters very much. Well, who in life knows for a fact what his best choices are? You can only guess.

Perhaps you can build yourself up to say Yes more often to what you desire than you say No to what you desire. If Life has picked a flower for you, it may behoove you to accept the flower and not throw it away.

Regardless, Life is your choice, and you choose one way or another.

Caution tells you that you can't accept everything that comes your way. On the other hand, you want your heart to flow where it wants to flow.

To Protect Weed from Monsanto Patenting, Company Begins Mapping Cannabis Genome

Portland, OR – A pioneering biotechnology startup has launched an online interactive guide that maps the genetic evolution of the cannabis genome, allowing for specific strains of marijuana that are already in the public domain a form of protection from patenting by large biotech firms such as Monsanto.

After two years of collecting samples, sequencing the plant’s DNA and developing the software to allow for a 3-D visualization of the collected data, the company was ready to unveil their long-awaited project.

“Sample collection was a huge part of this process,” Carolyn White, Sales and Marketing Manager at Phylos Bioscience told the Willamette Weekly. “One side was a collaboration with growers, dispensaries and labs to collect modern samples, and the other a process of hunting down ancient landrace strains from all over the world.”

The Portland company, fittingly on 4/20, went online with its interactive guide, which the company calls Galaxy.

Dear Ones, did you know that loving yourself actually improves your relationships? When you don’t make decisions based on what is best for you, you will experience resentment. There is no energy that will erode your feelings of love faster than resentment.

You see, if you make a choice that is not in alignment with how you really feel, you will feel angry and resentful in the action. So automatically you will feel resistance to the activity. You will then be angry at having to do it, and angry at yourself for agreeing to, and angry at the person for having you do it, even though it is something that you agreed to, or even offered!

Because you have made a choice that is out of balance with your own needs and feeling that resentment, you will be prone to lash out, making you seem unpredictable and unsafe to the other. Further, that seething resentment will make you feel like you are sacrificing so much for the other, but because you have not been honest about your feelings, you will never feel the level of appreciation you feel you deserve for such efforts.

Don't take jokes seriously. In fact, don't take anything seriously. You miss the point if you start taking things seriously. Even scriptures have to be taken non-seriously; only then can you understand. Understanding has to be with a deep, relaxed, non-serious, playful attitude. When you become serious you become tense. When you become serious you become closed. When you are playful many things can happen because in playfulness is creativity. In playfulness you can innovate.

It doesn’t take much searching to find some of the more commonly known benefits of becoming deeply connected on a spiritual level. But for those of you who are not familiar, meditation can help with a wide range of mental and physical health issues and is great for forming a deeper connection with yourself, those close to you and humanity in general.

I know I am not going into specifics and this covers quite a broad range of subjects, but the vast potential of being spiritually healthy is huge and a whole article could be written on each of those benefits, so I shall leave specifics for today.

What I am trying to cover in this article are the lesser known benefits of being spiritually healthy. You might call them the unsung perks of connecting with your divine purpose.

It is well known that meditation is great to help regulate sleeping and while I am not promoting people to sleep less, it may well be the case that you need to sleep less as a result of meditation.

Life is always barreling on its way to you, seemingly like the childhood game of Tiddlywinks where you flip little discs into a cup -- and there you are – your Life made up of little circles reaching you. These little circles become the building blocks of your Life in the World. What a Fantastic world you are in!

Look, Tiddlywinks come in all colors, and all colors enter your Life and take their place. Life may seem incidental, accidental or coincidental, yet Life is not hit or miss. Life is indeed purposeful. Life is always leading you somewhere even as you may not have a clue to where Life is leading you or what your next step will be, yet your next step is right here before you. Take your chances. 

Life may seem more like a chess game to you, and you may hear Life say to you: "Checkmate!"

Peruvian Farmer Wins Monumental Battle Against U.S. Mining Giant

Acuña’s inspiring story is proof that activists’ efforts do matter, and that even the world’s largest companies will be held to account.

Peruvian activists knew they were entering a David-and-Goliath battle when they decided to shut down the creation of a $5 billion open-caste gold and copper mine next to a pristine lake, but they have so far succeeded.

However, much of the community’s success in this endeavor can be credited to Maxima Acuña, a farmer who owns a 60-acre plot of land on the exact site where the giant Newmont Mining Corporation desires to dig.

Earlier this year, the mother of four received one of six prestigious Goldman Environment prizes for pioneering the fight against corrupt mining corporations, and her story is definitely worth sharing.

Arizona Poll Worker Confirms Rigged Primary — Testifies Her Machine Gave Out Wrong Ballots

Phoenix, AZ — As the Free Thought Project reported, voter suppression in Maricopa County, and the rest of Arizona ran rampant last month during the primary. The number of polling locations was drastically reduced, leaving many voters with a wait time of 5 hours just to vote. Others were left with no voting locations at all.

The election rigging was so obvious that a hearing was held the following week in the House Gallery to discuss possible courses of action to correct it.

On Monday, during the hearing on the election challenge, a Maricopa County poll worker testified the computer system she used to check in voters would not allow her to give the correct ballots to voters.

The testimony from Dianne Post confirmed the rampant voter suppression and election rigging which led to the hearing taking place. Post, who is an attorney in Maricopa County, testified a machine she was using to check in voters at a location failed to give 36 people the proper ballot.

It got worse.

According to Post, another 22 people at her location were listed in the wrong party and their polling place ran out of ballots for at least two congressional districts.

Dear Ones, we understand it can be disconcerting to feel deep, profound change and not have any idea of where you are going just yet. That is where your trust and faith come in. You are well prepared for this! You have learned how to surrender and flow, and how to move with the universe in a far more empowered way.

Be open. Remember that the universe can bring to you results far beyond what you could imagine for yourself. Continue to explore yourself, your truth, and what brings you joy. Use your gifts and the endless supports that are available to you.
