Fear and Time Do a Dance Together

God said:

Fear not. How can you be buoyant in love when you fear? When you fear, you see shadows all over. Shadows are only shadows. They are not real. You fear shadows. The shadows don't hurt you. 

Your radical acceptance of fear hurts you. Fear makes you take a stand for shadows. You bow down to shadows.

Fear is a concept you have bought into. Fear is a response. It is a reaction. It is not a brave act that your heart trembles as if there were no tomorrow. It does not behoove you to re-enact fear, to give it yet another face, and keep fear's face alive. 

Well, in Truth, there is no tomorrow and no yesterday. Time is a temporary-seeming pause in the Structure of the Universe. It is an aberration. Fear cannot exist except in the Illusory Passage of Time. Fear and time do a dance together. They are partners. They are fearsome partners. They enact drudgery together. Fear and time become a movie feature in your life. 

It is not really that fear and time catch up to you. It really is that you stop for them. Fear and time take you for a ride in their rickety carriage, and you don't know how to get off. You fear an unknown abyss, and, so, you hold onto the abyss you see now as if it were really and truly real. 

Imagine, you decide that holding onto nothing is a form of courage. What you are really doing is hanging out with the concept of fear pressed into an alarm of danger, as if Life on Earth consists of more danger than Love, as if Life is meant to be filled with shards. It is not.

Wilmington, DE — As it turns out, Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump share something pertinent in common, after all — a tax haven cozily nested inside the United States.

This brick-and-mortar, nondescript two-story building in Wilmington, Delaware would be awfully crowded if its registered occupants — 285,000 companies — actually resided there. What’s come to be known as the “Delaware loophole” — the unassuming building at 1209 North Orange Street — has become, as the Guardian described, “famous for helping tens of thousands of companies avoid hundreds of millions of dollars in tax.” 

Reportedly dozens of Fortune 500 companies — Coca-Cola, Walmart, American Airlines, and Apple, to name a few — use Delaware’s strict corporate secrecy laws and legal tax loopholes by registering the North Orange Street address for official business.

White House Admits — Locking People in Cages for Victimless Crimes is Devastating to the Economy

Washington D.C. — On Saturday, economists in U.S. President Barack Obama’s administration released a report detailing the adverse effects on the economy derived from locking non-violent drug offenders and criminals behind bars.

For decades, a guiding philosophy of authoritarians was that locking more people up would result in less crime. This has created a prison state in the U.S., which represents 4.4% of the world’s population yet houses 22% of the world’s prisoners.

Since 1980 alone, the US prison population has skyrocketed by nearly 5 times.

H0wever, the negative effects of such a totalitarian approach to drug crimes and other victimless offenses is having a staggering economic impact on the United States.

According to a report by Reuters, economists are “of one mind” that packed prisons, excessively long sentences, and insufficient reentry programs “are counter-productive to our economy as a whole in addition to hurting the people involved,” Jason Furman, chairman of the White House Council of Economic Advisers, told reporters in a call on Friday.

Alzheimer’s Disease Completely Reversed In One Week In Mice Using New Protein Injection

Last year, a team of Australian researchers used a non-invasive ultrasound to assist in removing toxic plaque and lesions from nerve cells commonly associated with the onset of Alzheimer’s disease. This was a big breakthrough, as the researchers were able to reverse the processes commonly associated with the onset of Alzheimer’s, you can read more about that here.

This time,  researchers from the University of Glasgow, in conjunction with the Hong Kong Univeristy of Science and Technology, have discovered that one injection of a protein called IL-33 can reverse Alzheimer’s-like symptoms and cognitive decline in mice. The protein is actually made by the body itself as part of its immune defence against serious infection and disease, ones that affect the brain and spinal cord.

After the injection, the mice instantly improved their cognitive function and memory, restored to that of a normal mouse within just one week of having the injections.

Paralyzed Man can Move Arm Again Thanks to Synthetic Nervous System

Gentlemen. We can rebuild him. We have the technology. Researchers have used what they call a neural bypass to replace the link between a quadriplegic man’s mental commands and the muscles in his limbs. Ian Burkhart was involved in a driving accident, and six years later he’s able to move his own hand once more. The neural bypass allows him to move his individual fingers, pick up large or small objects, swipe a credit card or even play Guitar Hero. He is the first patient to ever undertake this treatment.

Burkhart said during a press conference, that his ability to execute relatively complex types of movement “really can translate into a lot of functional, daily tasks that I can’t do on my own right now.”

“So that’s something that, if or when I can use this system outside of the clinical setting, it will really increase my quality of life and my independence, and decrease the amount of assistance I need from other people.”

Here’s how it works: a microelectrode array is implanted into Burkhart’s brain. It detects the activity in a particular region of his left motor cortex, a region which the researchers had already analysed with functional magnetic resonance imaging, determining that it was the area that controlled his hand – when Burkhart repeatedly thought about moving his hand, this region would increase in activity.

A Prevalent Idea in the World

The world has to move past the idea that death of the body is a sad-bad-horrific-thing-to-be-avoided-at-all-costs.

The prevalent idea seems to be that it is a terrible thing to die, that death, in common parlance and in good conscience, has to be postponed until the last possible moment because of an idea that death is in flagrant disrespect of Life, as if death is the worst thing that can happen to you or anyone.

Death is simply the other side of the coin. The death of your current body is not the end of the world. It is not even the end of your Life.

Have You Been Seeing Crows? What The Crow Symbolizes (More Than Just Death)

The other morning I ran out to my car to grab my purse when I heard the loudest “CAW” from right behind me. I looked back at my house and noticed a crow perched on a window ledge. When I looked at it, it cawed again and flew away. My immediate thought was, “Oh my god, who is going to die?”

I honestly don’t think I am alone in thinking this. Crows have long symbolized death because they are carrion birds, birds that feed on dead animals. There are many myths surrounding carrion birds. For example, ravens and vultures are said to symbolize war, death, and misfortune, and they are even said to be depicted as familiars of witches.

Of course this is all speculation and I’m sure many people will already dispute the mystical representations that birds have, so I advise you to keep an open mind if you choose to read further.
