"Greetings, Beloved Family! We are in awareness of the announcement that we will be de-cloaking at your Olympic Games on the date of August 4th, and we wish to address this in several ways.
 
"First, as you know, we are not in the practice of giving dates, and we have several reasons for this, not the least of which are your own safety and peace of mind. Remember that the dominoes are falling in a sequential order, and that it is necessary for all who would block your Freedoms to be removed. Also, we ask that you be aware that many dates have been given in the past for events and announcements and that, when nothing has occurred, it has caused a downward energetic spiral for those who have had hope. In other words, it has given the dark hats more disappointment, despair and depression upon which to feed.

Colombian police arrested nearly 3,400 people across the country as part of their "Olympic Security Marathon" week.

The 8-day security spree, called the Olympic Security Marathon for reasons police did not explain, took place across 24 Colombian cities and towns, and resulted in the recovery of 380 firearms, 200 stolen vehicles, and nearly five tons of cocaine and and marijuana, according to a press report from the national police office released on Friday.

A weird, new kind of UFO, shaped like what can only be described as a catamaran boat hull, was filmed in the cloudy twilight skies over an unidentified city in Russia. What is it?

The video shows a cloudy sky over the city as a flashing light slowly makes its way over the rooftops. As the camera zooms in and the clouds fall away, the shape of the unidentified flying object is more clearly defined.

As the video rolls, the flashing lights appear to encircle the craft's hull, which, at one point, reveals oblong rails on either side. Hence the comparison to a catamaran, which is similarly shaped.

But, clearly, there are no jets, airplanes or helicopters which have that kind of shape and there is no evidence that the wingless, motorless UFO is spewing exhaust or showing the properties of those kinds of aircraft.

A 1,300-year-old Mayan prince has been discovered in an ancient tomb along with lavish burial offerings.

The tomb dates back to the eighth century and was discovered roughly 1.5 metres below the royal palace of Uxul in Campeche, Mexico. 

The fossilized man, who researchers estimate was between 20 and 25 when he died, was found lying on his back, with his arms folded inside a tomb 4.9 feet (1.5 meters) below the floor in a building within the city's royal complex.

A UFO was seen by millions of people hovering over the opening ceremonies at the London Olympics earlier this week. The glowing craft could be seen during the huge fireworks display at the end. Most people missed (or ignored) it, but one eagle-eyed TV viewer was convinced he’d seen something mysterious.

He posted a video of it to YouTube and it went viral, stirring controversy around the Web (watch the video at the bottom of this post). Enhancing the video, some saw a dome atop a disc-shaped spacecraft; others thought it might be a blimp at first, but realized it wasn’t because, as one poster asked, “Why would a company spend millions getting a blimp in the air and then not put advertising on it?”
