Cannabis: Religious Reverence Throughout History – Part 1/2

By Wes Annac, Culture of Awareness

If you still think cannabis is a dangerous drug with no medicinal or spiritual benefits, read ahead and try to keep an open mind toward a misunderstood plant that’s been revered throughout history and was only outlawed in the past century.

Millions of people who’ve been healed by the cannabis plant are taking a stand for it, igniting a revolution more powerful than its suppressors can handle.

We know it can heal the mind, body and spirit if used with proper intention, and we’re willing to defend it against those who know little about it beyond what the government and biased media outlets tell them.

A Spiritual Crisis

The world is in the midst of a spiritual crisis, and cannabis could very well be the answer.

It doesn’t work for everyone and some might actually feel worse or less spiritually ‘conscious’ if they use it, but in my opinion, the world would improve significantly if everyone were open to it.

More important than the effect it has on society is the effect it has on the individual. You may have heard or read reports of what it’s like – joyful, euphoric, etc. – but the focused spiritual cannabis user would describe it as essential to their meditation.

Monsanto Losing Millions as Farmers in India Plant Indigenous Seed

by Christina Sarich, Underground Reporter

(UR) India — Monsanto is losing millions on failed GM cotton. The company illegally pushed a form of Bt cotton into India and Africa more than a decade ago, but farmers are now pushing back by planting their own indigenous seed.

Monsanto is accused of writing laws and then breaking them to enter the market in India, but after more than 300,000 farmer deaths between 1995 and 2013, many of them attributed to Monsanto, the company is finally paying for their misdeeds. The corporation’s greed is linked to farmer suicides throughout Maharashtra, considered the ‘Cotton Belt’ in India.

The Indian government is now actively promoting the use of indigenous seed, and has called Monsanto out for profiteering illegally on Bt cotton seed.

A “Microhome” Made Out Of Cardboard That Lasts 100 Years

by Alexa Erickson, Collective Evolution

Tiny homes have become a social movement we can’t ignore. People all over the world are choosing to downsize the space they live in for a happier life.

In the U.S., for instance, the typical American home is around 2,600 square feet, but the typical tiny home is only between 100 and 400 square feet. They come in all shapes, sizes, and forms, but they all have one thing in common: they allow simpler living in a smaller, more efficient environment.

People have joined this movement for many reasons, whether it be concerns over the environment or their own finances, or the desire for more time and freedom. Most Americans spend 1/3 to 1/2 of their income on their homes, which means they spend 15 years working just to pay for it. This has caused 76 percent of Americans to live paycheck to paycheck. But for what? People who turn to this movement are done trying to prove themselves. They just just want a lifestyle that can make them feel good from the inside out.

The child is unaware of what he has brought with him. This rich man was in the same position. He had all the riches in the world, and now he was searching for peace of mind. He went from one sage to another and they all gave great advice, but advice helps nobody.

In fact only fools give advice, and only fools take advice. Wise people are very reluctant to give you advice because a wise man certainly knows that the only thing in the world which is given freely is advice, and that which is never taken by anybody is advice, so why should he bother?

A wise man first prepares you so that you can take the advice. He does not simply give you advice; you need to be prepared. It may take years to prepare you, to prepare the ground, and only then can you sow the seeds. It will be a fool who simply goes on throwing seeds on rocks and stones without even bothering that he is wasting seeds.

Write Your Life Now with Golden Ink

God said:

You write your own story. Write your life now with golden ink. No more spilt milk. No longer rue. Leave regrets behind, can you? Simply, no longer take regrets with you. Thoughts are to enliven you and expand you. Your thoughts are powerful. Whether for joy or hurt, thoughts are powerful, and yours are very powerful.

Just as you might redo your house, rebuild your sense of self. You are not a mere human being. You are a human being, Beloved of God. That you are a human being, does not make you small. Grow your vision. Yes, do get ahead of yourself. Redo your photo. Take a new snapshot. Arise.

No longer keep riding the old rails of yourself.

Let's recall that you are made in My image. It isn't for you to let the world sculpt you. It is for you to make the world. What were you thinking?

Be mother and father unto yourself.

Everyone is Self-made. Unto your Self be true. You are under the Sun. Warm yourself under the Sun. The Sun was made for you. Bright Sun was made for you. Life tempers you, not into steel but into gold.

You are more than under the Sun. You are under the Light of God. In fact, you are not under God. You shine in the Light of God. You shine in My Light. You deserve My Light. You are My Light. Grab a clue as to your worth. Dare to. Reflect Me on Earth. Forego old worn-out thinking.

Norway Police Haven’t Killed In A Decade – What The U.S. Needs To Learn

by Alexa Erickson, Collective Evolution

As a child, I was appalled by many of the events that I read about in my history books. The civil, social, and economical injustices confused and angered me. I felt for the millions of people who were victims of such wrongdoings, yet grateful for the ones who risked their lives to make our world, and my home, the United States, a more peaceful place.

As an adult, I can’t help but feel like my home has taken so many steps backward.

Despite the fact that it’s 2016, it’s hard not to turn on the news, flip through Facebook, or look at your phone’s news apps without being informed of yet another police shooting. Police killed at least 102 unarmed black people in 2015, nearly two each week.

In 2016, police have killed more than 130 black people, according to a project by the Guardian. Just this past Monday, Korryn Gaines became the 9th black woman killed by police this year.

Police murder people on a daily basis in the United States, of all races, too.

Mega-Corporations Bayer and Monsanto May Actually Merge and This Would Be The Result

(COMMONDREAMSA new legal opinion penned by two former Justice Department officials bolsters warnings that the proposed merger between agroindustrial giants Bayer and Monsanto “is a five-alarm threat to our food supply and to farmers around the world.”

The white paper (pdf) by Maurice E. Stucke and Allen P. Grunes, both former employees of the Justice Department’s Antitrust Division, states that Bayer’s proposed takeover of Monsanto would:

Now More Than Ever

Each of you has a special gift that only you possess.  It may be an act of physical strength, compassion, the ability to hold space for another or listening.  You have had this gift since childhood, always considered it a part of who you are and, maybe, have taken for granted the fact that it is unique and unlike any other.  Today, you are invited to revisit that gift and begin to show it to the world.  It is needed now, more than ever! ~ Creator

In fact, if man knows what peace is, and what mind is, he cannot write a book entitled PEACE OF MIND, because mind is the cause of all unpeace, all restlessness. Peace is when there is no mind.

So peace of mind - no commodity like this exists. If mind is there, then peace is not. If peace is there then mind is not. But to write a book "Peace of No Mind" ... nobody is going to purchase it.
