Creating A Life You Love & Finding The Love Of Your LIfe

Is Now The Time To Create LOVE?

Have you lost hope in finding love? Did your parents get divorced, fight all the time, and/or never teach you how to love well? Do you keep going for the wrong guy? Are you successful and thriving in business but ignoring your heart’s desire for a relationship? Do you still carry the programming from the past – of unhealthy connection and disconnection?

My friend Natalie Lamb, relationships expert, posed this question to singles on Facebook: “What’s blocking you from love?”

The answers she got had me in tears. I realized so many people had lost hope. They didn’t believe they could find a great relationship! They lived in fear and in pain, with no idea how to clear that negativity and move on.

So I reached out to Julie – there is no one who has a story like hers! She went from a broken family and dysfunctional relationships to finding a glorious love that is BETTER than she ever could have imagined. I asked her to share her story so others could hear how she turned her life around – from bankruptcy and worthlessness to adventure and love.

New Research Surfaces Spelling Bad News For Tylenol: It Doesn’t Just Kill Pain…

Researchers from Ohio State University have discovered that the commonly used pain reliever, acetaminophen, has a previously unknown side effect: it kills positive emotions. In the study, participants who took acetaminophen reported feeling fewer strong emotions when they were shown very pleasant or very disturbing photos, compared to those who took placebos. You might be thinking correlation doesn’t mean causation, but when you use the Bradford Hill criteria, and examine all of the other studies done regarding the psychological effects of over the counter pain killers, the picture becomes clearer. (source)(source)

Acetaminophen is the main ingredient in the commonly used pain reliever Tylenol and has been used for more than 70 years in the United States, but this marks the first time that this “side effect” has been documented. It’s the most common drug ingredient in the United States, found in more than 600 medicines, according to the Consumer Healthcare Products Association. (source)

The New Leadership Paradigm That Could Save the World In Less Than A Decade

There’s a new kind of leadership emerging that’s gaining momentum, and it may very well change the world. In less than a decade, it has the power to do what took multiple generations centuries to accomplish under the old paradigm.

Fueled by the power of collectivism balanced upon a substratum of unabashed individualism, the new leadership paradigm becomes its own power source when properly driven. If you and Ayn Rand don’t think collectivism and individualism can coexist in the same sentence, much less be driven down the same road, you might want to ditch your rearview mirror for a glimpse into the future.

Collectivism emphasizes the interdependence of all human beings. Beyond government or political systems, we already know that collectivism that doesn’t also allow for individual autonomy doesn’t work, as it limits human potential. Individualism is critical to cultivating natural diversity and maintaining checks and balances.

Redefining Our World

In reality, human potential can’t be stopped. Humanity is undergoing the growing pains of the evolution of consciousness as our understanding of the world around us, how we interact with one another and the planet, evolves beyond our self-imposed limitations.

It’s Not Technology That Will “Save” Us: It’s The Consciousness That Operates It

The bard Robert Anton Wilson said, “Anybody who tells you that we’re running out of resources or that we’re in a terrible mess–they are idiots. We can’t run out of resources. Resources exist when the human mind sees how to use something. To say we are running out of resources is like saying we are running out of brain cells.(1)”

If necessity is the mother of invention, it is safe to say she is finally giving birth. Despite the relative mismanagement of our “resources,” the growth of affordable green energy industries and countless prototypical inventions are arriving right on time. Moreover, these new inventions have the potential to single-handedly replace conventional methods for dealing with systemic environmental problems.(2)(3)

But what if our problems are not technological, but cultural? What if “the west” has been so blinded by abstraction that the first glimpse of hope offered in the form of a band-aid is immediately heralded as a cure, all without even recognizing that process is occurring?

After all, what good are solar panels on every house if we use them to power 500-channel televisions feeding you anxiety and smut and alienation?

…or electric cars if we don’t have to worry about paying for gas while being stuck in rush hour gridlock on the way to an uninspiring job?

The Importance Of Sound, Frequency & Vibration In Our Daily Lives

“If you want to learn the secrets of the universe, think of energy, frequency, and vibration.” – Nikola Tesla

If you think of reality as a gigantic satellite radio, then we are all frequencies that are being broadcast through the same receiver. This satellite radio (aka: God/the Universe/love/all-that-is) offers an endless amount of stations all at once, and you can dial in to any frequency that feels best. Simply put, think of this… just because you may turn to Z100 on the radio dial, it doesn’t mean that HOT97 doesn’t also exist, it’s just that Z100 is the particular frequency that you prefer to vibrate on, because this station has the melodies that move you. Others may find their rhythm from different melodies, but all of life is music nonetheless.

8 Ideas To Help You Unplug From The “Matrix”

Below are some strategies for those wishing to live more rewarding, connected, and sustainable lives.

1. Eat Healthy Organic Foods

Consider incorporating more plant-based whole foods into your diet and eliminating processed packaged foods. Eating a healthy whole food diet facilitates the cleansing of the body of unwanted toxins, and can contribute to greater clarity of mind and increased physical and mental health, as well as reducing your chances of developing degenerative diseases later in life. Living with clarity is the first step to realizing your true potential and freeing yourself from the system. This also makes you less (or non) reliant on the industrialized food system, pharmaceutical grade drugs and the conventional medical system.

2. Downsize Your Life

As housing affordability deteriorates and economies continue to contract, more and more people are seeking alternative ways of living...

New Moon In Gemini: Integrating Dualities & Being Versatile In Our Actions

We will be having a New Moon in Gemini on Tuesday, June 16th at 2:05pm GMT (Universal Time). New Moons are the beginning of the 29.5 day moon cycle and signal a fresh start for the following month. This is when there is no light on [this side of] the Moon, but then the light slowly starts to increase again, becoming visible over the following days. This is known as the beginning of the waxing phase, which lasts until the Full Moon and is associated with growth and expansion.

New Moons are a great time to plant seeds, set intentions, or perform actions in relation to what you would like to grow or manifest over the upcoming cycle. It is best to do this as close to the minute of the New Moon as possible, but it can also be done over the following 24 hours (calculate your time zone). As the moon’s light grows and expands, your intentions and actions could continue to develop further. How everything unfolds for each person also depends on how one is being individually influenced by the astrology.

4 Ways To Relieve Stress That Can Positively Impact Various Areas Of Your Life

Stress can be both a good thing and a bad thing, depending on the nature and course of its duration. In the short term, stress activates a fight-or-flight response that signals the adrenal glands to release hormones that increase heart rate and blood pressure, such as adrenaline and cortisol, which help the body protect itself against harm. However, when stress levels continuously remain high on a long term basis, these same defense mechanisms that prove helpful during situations of acute stress can wreak havoc on the body by lowering the immune system, impairing the cardiovascular system, causing blood pressure problems, and more. In short, chronic stress basically diminishes your quality of life to some degree in virtually every aspect possible. Learning to manage stress is essential to achieving an optimal quality of life. Thankfully, there are methods that can help you do just that. The following techniques for combatting stress are packed with the potential to positively impact various aspects of your life:

Out Of Our Own Backyards – Rethinking The Future Of Food

The following article is an excerpt from my new book titled Rethink, Your world, Your future, which  has just been released.

Buying Local Can be Difficult

Buying local these days can be difficult, as most of the food in supermarkets travels thousands of miles. An example of the lunacy of the current food system is highlighted by a 2007 study conducted by Melbourne’s Centre for Education and Research in Environmental Strategies, or CERES. The study found that the average Australian basket of food has travelled over 70,000 kilometres from producer to consumer. The study analyzed 29 different food items purchased at a typical supermarket. These items included fruit, vegetables, meat, dairy, and non-core food items such as chocolate. Typical across the globalized food system, the food in the basket of goods had been transported by road within Australia and by ship from other countries. Apart from the high transport miles, the energy which goes into the production of the products can also be far more significant in terms of global carbon emissions.

Breathtaking Drone Footage Of Sudan’s Forgotten Nubian Pyramids

Amazing drone footage released last month from National Geographic Engineer Alan Turchik shows the world some excellent shots of the Northern Sudan’s 3000 year old pyramids.

Pyramids today remain a complete mystery to researchers, archaeologists, and scientists alike. Theories have have been put forth, but we still don’t have a concrete notion of how they were built or by whom, or even what their purpose is. There are still several questions that remain unanswered, which is why many of them are considered to be some of the greatest ancient unsolved mysteries in human history.

One of the most fascinating things about the pyramids is the fact that they have been discovered all over the world. They range in size but are remarkably similar in construction, and are known to have been built by several ancient civilizations – in several different time periods – all of which were completely unaware of each other’s existence. It’s truly remarkable and mind-blowing when you think about it, isn’t it?
