Research Shows CBD Combats Social Anxiety

Many people suffer from social anxiety, but it is often a subject that is pushed aside as many are embarrassed to talk openly about it. However, personal experience has taught me that social anxiety can be mentally crippling in many ways and negatively impact various areas of a person’s life. When in a social setting, it feels as if you are trapped in your own personal prison, and the words you want to say just won’t come out.

When seeking help from doctors, many are prescribed anti-anxiety medications that either do not help or have serious side effects. Luckily, researchers have found what appears to be a legit solution to managing social anxiety.

Study On CBD & Social Anxiety

In a study testing the effects of CBD on social anxiety, researchers administered a simulation public speaking test (SPST) to test subjects before and after taking CBD and compared the results. A SPST is basically a test designed to provoke a response in an individual with social anxiety similar to the one they would experience if they were actually speaking in public.

The Top 3 Mind-Boggling Quantum Experiments That Will Drop Your Jaw

Quantum physics has revealed that the true nature of our reality is much “weirder” than we previously thought. Findings in this realm challenge various belief systems that are still firmly held by a large portion of mainstream science. The modern scientific worldview is predicated on assumptions closely associated with classical physics. This has become dominant in academia, more specifically, materialism, which is the idea that matter is the only reality, despite the fact that multiple experiments have clearly shown how certain empirical phenomena cannot be explained by classical physics.

“QM [quantum mechanics] has questioned the material foundations of the world by showing that atoms and subatomic particles are not really solid objects—they do not exist with certainty at definite spatial locations and definite times. Most importantly, QM explicitly introduced the mind into its basic conceptual structure since it was found that particles being observed and the observer—the physicist and the method used for observation—are linked. According to one interpretation of QM, this phenomenon implies that the consciousness of the observer is vital to the existence of the physical events being observed, and that mental events can affect the physical world.(source)

The Truth Behind Capitalism

In 2008, the loss of 11 billion dollars by the world’s largest investment company, AIG, and the bankruptcy of the US investment bank Lehman Brothers, triggered a domino effect of financial consequences which brought the entire capitalist system within a hair’s breadth of total collapse.

But, as the events leading up to the financial crisis were slowly unveiled, it became ever clearer that the crisis was caused, quite knowingly, by the bankers themselves.

The Cause

In the years leading up to the economic crisis in 2008, banks increased the funding for the riskiest loans (called subprime loans), from $30 billion a year to over $600 billion a year, rigged even higher interest rates on those loans, and then, while the bankers were making billions of dollars of profits off the borrowers’ high interest repayments, they made further profits betting against their customers ever being able to pay back the loans they had just been given.

The FBI warned the government about this in reports as early as 2006, the IMF’s chief economist, Raghurum Rajan, presented a paper to the men in charge of all the world’s major banks, including the Federal Reserve, warning of the potential collapse of the system due to dangerous incentives, and journalist Allan Sloan published articles in Fortune magazine and The Washington Post in 2007 – nothing was done.

The Easiest Way To Quiet Your Mind

Many of us live with the understanding that to turn off our personal chatter and quieten our mind involves us having ‘to do’ something, to either distract ourselves or refocus our attention.

Some of us are even unaware of how busy minded we have become. We live with a revved up speed of thought and don’t recognize its significance in our struggles with productivity, procrastination, and relationships.

We sometimes only realize the scale of our mental speed when it slows down enough for us to notice it. Much like hearing a noisy drill on a construction site next to our office, we don’t realize how intrusive and loud it is until it stops momentarily before then starting up again.

We all have an innate pull towards habits and pastimes to help us: holidays, hobbies, yoga, cycling, alcohol, walking, watching movies and our phones! The list is endless.

What if our understanding of having ‘to do’ something in order to quieten our mind becomes the obstacle?

Reshaping The American Dream To Include Everyone

The impetus behind this country was and continues to be the human spirit that desires to realize true freedom and express creative potential so that we not only survive, but thrive.

We are going through an identity crisis. Perhaps the whole world is.

This isn’t the identity crisis of gender, race, or sexuality that is currently breaking wide open as we mature into the awareness that nature offers abundant variety. This is an existential crisis of what we as a people collectively value—the meaning and purpose behind our lives that propels us toward an unknown future.

Let’s revisit American history to see how our whys have transformed over the years.

The original thirteen British colonies that made up the first states of a new nation fled England to escape European religious persecution—our first why. The signing of the Declaration of Independence in 1787 codified our political why.

One of the difficulties that plagued our fledgling republic was financial. But, wise and skillful founding fathers, along with the grit of hard labor, voluntary and forced, began constructing a strong foundation that would come to underpin our nation’s success story.

Blue Moon In Aquarius: Balancing Self-Expression With Collective Needs

We will be having a Full Moon in Aquarius on July 31st at 10:43am Universal Time. It is the second one of July, which we refer to as a “Blue Moon” in modern times. This happens every 2-3 years.

The origins of the term Blue Moon trace back to the Maine Farmer’s Almanac in the 19th Century. However, it originally referred to the 3rd of 4 Full Moons in a season, and interestingly was not associated with a calendar month like it is today. Therefore we now have both seasonal and calendar Blue Moons, this one being the latter. I have found that in some cases the events and circumstances which occur during these Moons may ring true to the “once in a blue moon” definition.

About Full Moons

Full Moons are the peak of the Moon cycle, as this is when the light of the Sun completely fills the Moon and marks the beginning of the following 2 week period when the light starts fading. This is known as the “waning phase.” Symbolically, because this is when the light begins to recede, this represents a time of release. Full Moons are generally the most intense and lively time of the Moon cycle.

How DMT May Be Related To Psychic Phenomena

If you’ve ever experienced moments of deja vu, prophetic dreams, or extremely powerful moments of intuition, understanding your ‘glimpses into the future’ or ‘memories from the past’ may be somewhat perplexing. For those who are not spiritually inclined, the general opinion may be that these experiences are just part of the random chaos of the universe, but for others on the more spiritual side of the spectrum, the school of thought may be that out of this “chaos” there is order. But, what if (beyond opinion) science could prove the validity of the prophetic state, and we could have data to back up just why we receive these messages that seem to be beyond ourselves?

3 Important Things To Know If You Are On The Cusp Of Change

So, you want to see big changes in your life. Perhaps you want a new love interest, creative outlet, home, job, or radical change of career. A little jarring but true, you can pretty accurately gauge your ability to create the experiences you desire most by your answer to the following simple, but oh-so powerful question:

Are you willing to do whatever it takes – no matter what?

I know this well because it is a conversation I have every day with clients and prospective clients that come to me requesting guidance and support creating the life-changes that on their most core levels, they want and need.

Invariably during these types of exchanges, it becomes apparent that the energy and consciousness of the individual in question, much like waves on the shore, are ‘breaking’ against the invisible boundary that separates their current life from a potential new one brimming with possibility, adventure, and untapped potential.

The 3 Minute Video That Explains Why 100 Years Ago People Were Eating Food Most Of Us Will Never Taste

The topic of GMOs is certainly a recurring theme here at CE, as we now feature over 200 articles relating to the scientific process that is impacting so much of what we consume. Despite the information being relatively widespread and well-known at this point, GMO use continues to rise worldwide and the impact it’s having on our health is becoming more and more prominent.

However, this article focuses on another impact genetically modified seeds and crops are having on us, one which effects our overall human experience. The topic of conversation this time around is the destruction of certain crop varieties, as we turn our focus to the mass production of particular GMO crops rather than the stability in production of all crops possible.

National Children’s Leukemia Foundation Shut Down: This Is Why It’s OK Not To Donate Money

“Everyone should know that most cancer research is largely a fraud, and that the major cancer research organisations are derelict in their duties to the people who support them.” (source)

The statement above comes from Linus Pauling, Ph.D, and two time Nobel Prize winner in chemistry (1901-1994). He is considered one of the most important scientists in history. Clearly a very intelligent man, and one of many others with similar beliefs who work directly within the medical field. These beliefs don’t just come out of thin air, they come from research and proof. Although it can be a scary thing to consider, the fact of the matter is that various cancer charities are indeed largely fraudulent, and unfortunately we now have another example to add to the growing list of cases.
